Hca Healthone Midtown Ob/Gyn - Denver's Online Review Report Card

I scheduled an appt two months ago for an annual exam. I have the email confirmation that shows the appt they setup. I showed up and the receptionist had no record of the appointment. She said they forgot to reschedule the appt. I like the doctor but I’ll be going somewhere else. You don’t do that to patients. I scheduled time off work, missed work meetings and drove 60 mins round trip. I had to research a new doctor and schedule a later appt. in April. I’ll be going to HCA at another location with better reviews too! These reviews just say it all.

I’ve loved my experience with this practice for my first pregnancy! Dr. Serrahn is the best, she is so caring and takes time to answer all of my questions, which I imagine doing that all day must be exhausting but she always has so much energy. She is so professional and was very proactive about monitoring anything potentially concerning during my last pregnancy. I felt so lucky to be in this practice’s care for my delivery last summer. I look forward to my ongoing care here! I would recommend Dr. Serrahn and her colleagues to any of my friends and family.

The scheduler should be replaced. Have called 6 times over the past couple of weeks with no response. Finally got through to someone today and was hung up on mid way making the appointment. No call back. It’s like they don’t want new patients

I read all of these reviews and was encouraged by the positive remarks about the physicians, so I went ahead and tried to make an appointment. Unfortunately, I had the exact same experience as everyone else with the front desk associate who took my call. First, she told me she couldn’t find my referral. I was confused because I have a pretty urgent health matter and my provider assured me she’d sent a referral. She asked me what my insurance was and said I would need to talk to them. I was confused - what does my insurance have to do with the referral? She insisted I check with my insurance company and even asked me if I had called the right phone number. Finally, when I asked to speak with her supervisor, she admitted that she had “94 referrals to go through” and simply hadn’t looked at mine yet. I said, “Ma’am I haven’t been able to sleep for two weeks, can you please find my referral and schedule me an appointment?” Truly bizarre behavior - not how you want to be treated when you’re experiencing an illness. Didn’t catch her name.

All the Doctors and techs are truly wonderful to work with! However the office management needs work and to be more professional to patients, they are not empathic for a practice like this. Whenever I call in they are rude and not welcoming on the phone. For example I called today for a very important prescription refill, and they stated my Dr. was not in and it would have to wait until next week (it cannot wait I am completely out) and she told me there nothing she can do and that it was tough luck. This is no appropriate! Action needs to be taken

I have had the same experiences as the other reviewers. Happy to have my beautiful, healthy daughter but this practice should not be where you go to have a baby or care for yourself. I experienced countless issues from pregnancy through postpartum like dropping a vial of blood on the floor, not sending my prescriptions to my pharmacy and then finally sending it with the wrong prescription, 3 times. I could go on and on but hopefully you’ve already decided not to choose this clinic with your unborn child’s life or your own health.

Dr offerdahl is the best

The doctors in this practice are wonderful. Dr. Kelly took incredible care of us and delivered us a healthy, beautiful baby. I can’t say enough good things about her and the other doctors we’ve met here. However, the administrative staff in this office are putting patients and babies at risk. The lack of communication is absolutely unacceptable and truly worse then anything I’ve experienced for a private business, let alone a doctors office. It takes days of persistent non-stop calling to get a hold of someone for things like rescheduling appointments, answers to billing questions, discussion with a doctor about lab results, refilling prescriptions, etc. My wife and I had several circumstances where we were desperately trying to get a hold of a doctor or administrative staff from the practice for multiple days at a time. If someone does answer the phone, they tell you that you’ll get a call back, but you never do. If they don’t answer (most common) a voicemail will get you nowhere. When you or your wife is pregnant, the ability to get quick answers, appointments, prescription refills, etc. is of paramount importance. I wish we could see these doctors at another practice.

I'm very sad to have to resort to making a google review. After several years seeing Dr. Takimoto (who is wonderful), I think I may have to move on and find another practice and can not in good faith tell anyone to come to the practice, as it seems the management of the office has gone to the wayside. I have been trying to schedule an appt for the last 2 weeks. I have had some complications with medications and I cannot get any response or even a call back to get on the schedule. I cant imagine what it would be like if I had an even more serious issue.
