List of Hca Healthone Skyline Primary Care - East 19Th Ave's Reviews
My visit with the Doctor went well. I was there for my annual physical. Unfortunately the Phlebotomist was not there to draw my bloodwork. I had to come back 4 days later to have it drawn. This required a 45 minute return each way. This has me considering finding a new Doctor because this happened the last time I was there for bloodwork. Apparently she had to leave for personal reasons. I can't afford this amount of commute time. I realize that the practice has no control over this. However, to have it happen to me a second time is cause for considering alternatives.
Please do not go here. After my doctor retired, they bounced me from one woman to another. Each less qualified then the last. They have left my high and try with a disease that requires attention and humanity. I asked to chose my own doctor, they said no. Why would you not pick the best doctor for your condition.... This practice only wants your money. Go find another practice with heart.
Kayla is wonderful! I saw her recently because my pcp was not available and Kayla got me in and treated me quickly.
Might as well consult an RN instead of Pamela Havlen. She does not keep current w/ meditations nor treatments. She is not very compassionate.
Be careful with this place - they gave us a surprise bill and won't return our calls. My wife scheduled her annual wellness visit here (free with insurance) but Skyline billed it as a new patient visit, which means my wife owes $150. We've called 6 times over the past two years and even showed up in person to try to resolve this and they refuse to get back to us. Two years later we're still getting a bill every couple months. They'll probably respond to this message with something like "give us a call and we'll resolve this" but I've left multiple messages with their front desk and the practice manager never gets back to me.
I just recently switched my insurance over to kaiser, and I'm really glad I did. So far it's been really nice, especially because the staff is super friendly and caring. Thank you for helping me take care of my health, and making me feel at ease throughout the whole process.
Skyline is a KP facility and offers a cariety of care services- pharmaceutical, lab, sleep lab, dermatologist, endocrinologist, cardiovascular care, primary and pediatric, neurologist and much more. The facility has a attached garage with free parking. After checkin you wait in the lobby and a large screen will let you know when it is time to head to your appointment- it will provide the floor and department location. The building is always clean and neat.
They take advantage and bill you incorrectly. They are unethical and predatory.
Update -- We've spoken with the Skyline billing department 4 times now, including with BCBS on the line. We've also called the practice twice and asked to speak with the practice manager but never received a call back. We were also promised (with BCBS on the line) that our case would be reviewed by the patient advisory board and that never happened. Don't go here for wellness visits. My wife scheduled her (free) annual wellness visit here -- she was explicit that it was a wellness exam --but they billed our insurance company as if it was an office visit, which means it's not covered as the annual wellness visit and we have to pay 100% of the bill This is a very scammy business practice -- my wife explicitly scheduled a wellness visit.
I've always been very happy with this practice and fell well cared for.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
