My appointment with Imaging & Radiology at Porter Hospital was very good except for the tech. being behind on appointment times. He got to me a half hour late.

The tech, Adam was really great. He took time to explain thoroughly, made suggestions to make the exp more comfortable which I found very helpful. Facility was great. Check in was easy. Wait times where appropriate.

I had a positive experience at Porter Adventist Hospital. The staff was not only friendly they were very professional! I got in and out in a reasonable time and was made to feel welcome while I was there.

Had a brain MRI here, and while I was in the scanning machine thing, my heart started spasming and clenching really bad because of the machine during one of the images being taken. I immediately pushed the emergency stop button, because it was really scary and I was panicking. The tech didn't seem to take it very seriously, and had me continue with the imaging, which made me extremely uncomfortable and scared. Having to endure that set of imaging thinking I was going to have a heart attack or something was the absolute worst experience. I asked the tech to ask the doctor (or whoever) about it, because it is extremely concerning to me. He said he didn't know what could have happened, and he would talk to the doctor about that and get back to me. Here we are a couple months later and I never heard back from anyone. Just a complete disregard for their patients. Go somewhere else for your imaging, your life literally may depend on it.

Doing an MRI for me is not easy but the young woman who helped me made it relaxing and easy . I was able to get through it and not feel so stressed.
