List of MIchael Shen's Reviews
My visit went very smoothly. Every step was extremely professional. Dr Shen explained my coming procedural very clearly and answered my questions completely. It was an encouraging visit.
I have been experiencing back pain, pins and needles and electrical zaps in my legs and back and was sent to get an MRI after seeing a physical therapist for eight weeks as well. Dr Shen spent less than five minutes with me showing me my MRI and effectively telling me that there was nothing wrong. He proceeded to give me some analogy about if I had chest pain I would see a cardiologist but doesn’t mean that I need surgery. I never thought that I needed surgery but felt that I was being dismissed as a patient and felt no compassion from the doctor. I was told to make a follow up appointment with the physio doctors on staff but would have appreciated if that Dr. could have spent more time asking about my symptoms and what he may have seen with other patients in the past. It is difficult to be passed around from one doctor to another and not having them realize the time and money you have spent to see them.
Went to see this guy about my back and intense pain in my left leg after a motorcycle accident. He told me all I needed was PT. A week later I visited my foot doctor for a follow up I told her the same thing, she immediately told me to go to the ER to see if I had a blood clot, and I did now the clot has traveled to my lungs. This could have been potentially fatal. This guys a quack! I don't recommend seeing this doctor.
Dr Shen got right to the point on my issue. Very clear and thorough discussion and very helpful
Spent sufficient time with me to make sure I understood everything including treatment options. He seemed genuinely concerned about my problems and helping with proactive treatment and not simply rushing to surgery.
Gave me the best news and he was referred to me by a coworker who is a RN for 40 years... Teresa is her name and I love to thank her for referring me to Dr Shen ... He's the best ❤️😍

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
