MIle High Behavioral Health's Online Review Report Card

I’ve been trying to get therapy with Mile High Behavioral Health for two years now. I’ve had two intake appointments but no luck. I called MHBH again and today and tell me they don’t have therapists that treat mental health problems. They only treat substance abuse. “Try some place else for PTSD”. They seriously could have told me this during my last two intake appointments or any time over the last two years. I have been referred to this place by so many doctors and friends. They were the only place that didn’t turn me away due to insurance and now they say they don’t treat mental health at all! This doesn’t make any sense. Why did they waste my time having me come in for two fake intake appointments like that? Why not refer me somewhere else two years ago? 😬🤬

Volunteering will make you question your very existence. Donors are seen as cash cows, volunteers as second class citizens. Huge events are procrastinated and the stress is rested on the volunteer. Mindy Solomon has a practice of calling in parents to CPS if they decide not to pursue aggressive treatment in her care. She did this to me after our first meeting. Treatments where they held my kid down while she screamed - daily. Because of the reports to authorities, I was legally required to pursue months of unnecessary treatment, which was eventually reported as insurance fraud. She told me directly that she distrusts mothers in particular and refuses to deal with them. She even reported weekly meetings with me to insurance when she refused to talk to me because she admitted directly that she is sick of dealing with "mothers" who are too empathetic with their kid. My kid, who Solomon wrote in the medical record "did not have an eating disorder," was able to eat freely as soon as "treatment" ended, has been off and on suicidal since this happened My kid has distrusted doctors since this happened. It has been years and she continues to be treated for suicidality, which is hard to treat since she does not trust doctors and therapists. She did this to other parents. One parent of a child with a painful congenital condition told me that Solomon refused to allow them to do physical therapy because it would have been billed to her department at her previous employer. And it was the pain that caused the eating problem to begin with! The lack of empathy is alarming. If you are in need of treatment, do not trust Solomon with a free intake first appointment. It is a trick. At that point, she has full power to call CPS and force you into whatever treatment she calls for. And they just believe "doctors," without being aware of the financial incentive.

I had friends who went here, and they were concerned about the lack of vetting for employees and then I found this out. Just no. I was homeless for 2 years in Denver. When you take help from these people they think they own you. I sure hope stuff has changed because this place was horrid. I chose to sleep on the streets or in my car over Comitis after a few unsavory moments in the shelter. Can we say favoritism? I got better and off the streets when I finally said adios to this place. I feel like they have an agenda to use who they can for labor and treat the rest like dog crap. Should be shut down. And if you look Judi and one of the male owners rates this place multiple times. Trying to up ratings much? instead of trying to fix your FB ratings, fix your establishment and HELP ALL people. And serve a decent meal. Not a piece of bologna and a hard boiled egg for dinner.
