Omar Mubarak's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Mumbarak did an injection procedure on a vascular abnormality in my leg. He barely saw me for a few seconds before the procedure. He left the hospital immediately after the procedure was done and didn’t see me again for two weeks. I was given very vague and totally incorrect information about what to expect afterwards. The office staff at VIR in Grand Junction were helpful to a point after the procedure but treated me like a pill seeker when I asked for something to treat the pain I was in. I was set up to do two more procedures to finish my treatment. office staff were supposed to contact my insurance to get approval for both. I was told both were approved and then told that one was and one wasn’t. I called my insurance company and found out that they had never even called them about any new procedures. The office staff lied about that to me. Then they tried to convince me that I said things I didn’t ever say and that I was confused about my treatment plan. I’ll never go back

Dr Mubarak was very authentic, very caring and thorough, and after my husband’s major surgery, came quickly and explained the details of how things went. His staff was helpful and very responsive even on short notice, and my husband’s primary care physician helped alleviate our anxieties before surgery through her experience having worked with him over close to 20 years. It was a very stressful time and we appreciated everyone’s professionalism.

Was his patient for a couple of years. Moved from area so new provider made requests for my records. Records were never sent even after multiple requests by my new provider. While his patient, I had previous problems with his back office staff, so this does not surprise me.

First of all he was late to Surgery. My Mother laid on the table 45 minutes waiting for him. (He was jogging) My Mother had a Surgery to prevent her from having a Stroke. She ended up having a stroke the day she was released from the Hospital. He doesn't appear to have good social skills. He never even followed up with My Mother after she had her stroke.

Dr. Mubarak has been wonderful through the whole process of getting my mothers stint replaced. Even with the after care this office and staff have been great through......Keep up the great work!
