Porter Primary Care Cherry Creek's Online Review Report Card

Would not recommend this place to anyone. They ignore there patients and do not return phone calls.

I am an establushed patient and everytime I call to make an appointment it is days to weeks before they can see me. I currently have an urgent message for my doctor and it has been 2 full busuness days without any return call. There is no way to communicate with the back office, sometimes I can't even talk to anyone in the office. If you are looking for a responsive primary care, look elsewhere.

Love this place. Dr. Stanford is great. typing away documenting everything as she is talking to you. Always asking questions and commenting on everything. Easy to get blood work and other test done in the same building. Also, have seen Dr. Buehrer, very professional and carring. I know they have had some turnover so they may be a little short staffed but i have never had a problem getting taken care of.

Dr. Herfter is no help my ear cannel is swollen and red the dr. Said its fine thier no problem idk why he say that's my pain level is a 10+ it hurt i still have this problem i haven't went to a dr. For my ear ache its getting worst im having trouble sleeping all i need is help someone help me

Firstly I'll start by the doctors are good the staff in the reception area is terrible. My wife and I had made an appointment to confirm our pregnancy and to ease some of our nerves. My wife sent me the confirmation so that I could take the time off of work accordingly she had to do the same. We walked in and immediately they were rude when my wife gave the information they said the doctor isn't in that day and then proceeded to just stare at us. Until another of the ladies behind the desk said what's the name? We walked to the front check in desk and I told her the name and then she just didn't say anything to us for about 5 minutes and proceeded to call another paitient up to where I was standing without giving me any information as to what she was trying to do for us. It was very nasty shameless and cruel considering my wife is newly pregnant and doesn't need the added stress. We will never be back and hope everyone who reads this steers clear of this place. Your are just a name on a chart. When it comes to quality this place is a disgrace. We had a manager call us to apologize and ask if they could do something to make things right and by then it was too late. If they even asked us one question about why we were there in the first place maybe they wouldn't have been so rude because as healthcare providers they should know stress is very dangerous for a newly pregnant mother.

Dr. Singh is wonderful and the only reason I may consider returning to Porter Primary Care. However, It's hard to put into words how terrible my experience with Dr. Herfter was. First, he spent less than two minutes with me, did not review my medical history, dismissed my concerns and literally laughed at me when I said I was experiencing pain. As it turns out, he misdiagnosed me and two and half weeks later, when the symptoms persisted, I was diagnosed with Shingles--something a primary care doctor should have easily been able to diagnose. When I followed up to let him know that the symptoms had not gone away and that I had been diagnosed with shingles, he responded with a harassing email. In it, he called me entitled and that I should respect him more because "he is old enough to be my father." He took no fault, didn't even apologize, for having misdiagnosed me. He continued to call me careless and hurtful because I told him that he had misdiagnosed me. It's not "entitled" to want appropriate medical care. It's not "entitled" to want a doctor to diagnose you properly and spend adequate time with you to do so. And it's not "careless and hurtful" to follow up to tell him what the diagnosis turned out to be.

I never write reviews but i've put up with so much BS from this office that I felt anyone looking for a new physician should be warned. Dr. Wegletner has been my primary physician for years, and she really is Great, except that she only works 4 days of the week and leaves at noon half of those days. So scheduling can be quite difficult and she is hard to get ahold of. But my main issue is with the front desk staff, they are totally incapable of taking or relaying a message. I have a prescription that I have to refill monthly, and most months i've had to call 3 or 4 times and leave a message with different people every time just to get my Rx. They are also extremely slow at sending over referrals or medical records. If you really like the headache of having to call your doctor's office multiple times for a simple request then this is the perfect place!

Called multiple times to set an appointment so I could establish a primary care doctor. Nobody would pick up I would on hold for 10-15 minutes. Went with another primary doctor which kinda sucks, but it is what it is.

Dr. Stanford was awesome! Unfortunately the staff I found to be very incompetent. I have made 5 calls to inquire about a prescription only to lied too. I requested to speak to the office manager Lisa who is always not available and does not return phone calls. Perhaps she is the reason the staff is so incompetent.

This office at 950 E. Harvard is incapable of authorizing prescription refills in timely manner. I have been waiting for 4 days now. Plan well in advance if you need a refill from them.
