South Logan Family Practice's Online Review Report Card

I have been coming here for over 15 years, I originally loved my primary physician until he passed away, from there on out it was a different provider that I saw and none compared. They still helped me when I needed to be seen and same day appointments were almost always available. I do wish though they could retain their physicians so people could build a bond with them over the years. Good place but I will be leaving as my current insurance will no longer cover this clinic.

Not good for the neighborhood. Their caretaker threatens neighbors with violence when they have their kids around all because he doesn’t like something minuscule. He also dumps the lawn weeds and their pinecones in neighbors yards. The office doesn’t seem to care.

I have been coming to this practice for almost 20 years and today they refused medical services on me because I had one bill (that I spaced on) go to collections. I travel for work and am on some specific medication. I offered to pay for todays treatment up front but no. This is ridiculous to be turning patients away because of past due money when I offered to pay at the counter for any treatment . Good ole AMERICA working here

Place has gotten way worse over the years. Admin treats you bad, drs don’t listen and have minimal solutions. Plus they still think masks are important.

Save your money and time and go somewhere else. They asked me to come back to the clinic A WEEK AFTER my appointment because they forgot to get a sample. They messed up the bill and the laboratory sent me a bill for a test that I already paid for. Every time I called they said "can you hold please?" and let me in hold for more than 10min and they the phone disconnected. I understand they can be busy but come on, that was a lot. Then they answer and promised me to call me in an hour because on of the receptionists was in lunch time and they never called me back. The Dr. was really nice and professional but the receptionists look like if they don't like to work there at all.

Employees were incredibly unorganized. They managed to lose my test results and did not tell me until 3 weeks later when I was required to redo the tests. Should have listened to the other negative review

I came in for my immigration examination. The staff was absolutely great and accommodating. My experience was delightful even for a doctor's office. They also have great prives compared to other clinics!

My visit with the NP Erin Cain was great, she was very friendly and helpful, but some the receptionists are quite the opposite. It seems like they have some serious communication problems over there, as they could not find my new patient paperwork that I had emailed them at first, and were very short with me when I asked them to look for it. They also forgot to send my release of medical records form to my old drs office and did not do so until weeks later, after I had called several times to remind them.

Most, of my visits over the last 2 years have resulted in billing issues caused by their staff. When trying to get these sorted out the people in the office have not helped at all, but only forward me to their home office, which always goes to voicemail and they do not always call back. The staff does not follow up with you each time. Instead, you have to follow up with them several times to get any sort of answers on tests provided. One visit they did their examination with me in a storage room. No one seems to really care about anything, but instead just forwards you to someone else. My last visit I injured my shoulder. There was no sort of medical examination figuring out range of motion, or where exactly in my shoulder the injury occured, no PT evaluation. They just asked how painful it was then sent me (to another facility) for x-rays, to which they stated would have a low likelihood of determining the problem. I don't usually leave negative reviews for businesses and I understand that medical facilities are under a lot of strain right now. Any one of these things would be fine, but I have just come to expect a poor experience from this provider and would recommend anyone looks somewhere else for a primary care provider.

I’ve been here for a few years and will be leaving. Largely incompetent staff and practitioners. They have regularly messed up prescriptions, insurance billing and not listened to my health needs and billed me for tests I did not consent to. Over all I feel like my needs were not met and they costed me time and money.
