Dr. Cunningham is an excellent surgeon and doctor who listens to your needs. Unlike many doctors, she takes time to answer your questions, explains everything thoroughly and understands your needs an expectations from a female perspective. After a long search I am happy I found her. I would definitely choose her again for any type of procedure.

Dr. Cunningham is amazing! From my consultation to surgery to after care everything was above expectations. She is caring and really listened to what I wanted and absolutely nailed it. I am so happy with the procedure, her work is perfection! I traveled from the midwest to Denver after being recommended to her and I am so glad I did!

I wanted to see this doctor for my double mastectomy with reconstruction and they wouldn't even see me because they didn't want to work with my insurance. So little compassion from this practice, clearly they are only after the money. I'm so glad they rejected me because I was able to find actual caring, compassionate and good surgeons in San Francisco that performed my surgery preserving my sensation. Talk about talent and humility. They never turned me away because of my insurance because they understand how important this kind of reconstruction is for a woman. **Edit** (my response): When I spoke with scheduling, I was not given the option of discussing self-pay or out-of-pocket prices. Instead, I was simply told that my insurance was not in-network and that was that. I understand the financial concerns regarding out-of-network providers. However, my plan does not have network restrictions, so this was actually a preference of the practice to not work with my plan or see me - a cancer patient - because of it. So no, don’t publicly lie to me on this platform for the sake of your prospective patients or try to wash your hands of this. Fortunately for me, I will never have the opportunity to see for myself if you truly have the “most notable and compassionate plastic surgeons in the country.”

Dr. Cunningham is the best surgeon I have ever met. She is so technically skilled and has excellent bedside manner. I have never met a physician who is as professional and also as caring as she is. I highly recommend her!!!

Dr. Cunningham is a meticulous, thoughtful and talented surgeon. She takes great care of her patients from the bedside to her surgical skills in the operating room. When I send her patients I know they are in the best hands - she will listen with tender loving care and use her experience and expertise to give patients the highest level in clinical care. She has my highest recommendation.

I will never get to meet Dr. Cunningham as her front desk and nursing staff is awful, unaware of non-cosmetic procedure reconstruction needs—and, above all else, rude. I was so out off I chose to not see her at all for a consult despite a great recommendation from a trustworthy breast surgeon because all future emergencies (should I choose her) would go through this staff. In explaining to her staff that I had a mastectomy 4 months ago with skin saving techniques but have now had 2 emergency surgeries that have left me expander-less, I was told I had to wait 6 months. I told The staff that my skin would only stay for a few months (ideal surgery would be August), so so needed to get opinions ASAP). I was then told it would be a liability to them and not possible. All of this is complete lies as my husband is a lawyer andirons the daughter of an ex Chef of Surgery. This staffer had no clue, but I refuse to see a doctor with such a pompous and ill-informed staff surrounding her.
