University Of Colorado Ob-Gyn - Denver's Online Review Report Card

I was referred to this clinic after receiving devastating news on a Friday. The doctors at Denver Health told me that the UCH clinic would reach out on Monday, and they contacted me first thing that morning. Dr. Cohen was our doctor, and she was incredibly open, patient, and thorough. She answered every question I had, and I had many because I was so nervous. I needed a procedure at the main hospital, and she got us on the OR waitlist, and we were able to get in the very next morning. I felt so cared for throughout the entire process and had the best possible outcome in one of the worst circumstances. She also called herself and checked in after the procedure. I would recommend Dr. Cohen and her team to anyone. I only wish I had met her under different circumstances, but I am so grateful that she was my doctor.

Terrible experience. Staff said IUD placement would cost about $150 to $200 and promised to check my insurance and call back with the exact amount. They did not. I called the clinic. They didn't answer. I called the billing department. They refused to provide an estimate. I sent a message to the billing department on the app. They refused to provide an estimate. I eventually reached someone at the clinic who informed me it would cost $1500 for an IUD placement -- WITH INSURANCE. This is a complete rip-off and more than $1000 over the initial estimate, so no wonder this clinic went out of its way to try to hide this information. The clinic also failed to provide any pre-appointment instructions to me. Should I take an ibuprofen? Fast? Ask my husband to take time off of work to drive me home after the appointment? None of these critical details were conveyed to me. Finally, as the previous negative review references, this address has multiple ob-gyn clinics, and UC Health's staff also scheduled me for the wrong clinic. So, after traveling to the midwifery clinic, cancelling that appointment, making a new appointment at the family planning clinic, and now having to cancel that appointment due to their absurd costs, I have now had two appointments, spent far too much time trying to get basic information over the phone, and still have not received the treatment I need.

I scheduled my appointment months ago and took time off work, only to find out it was booked at the wrong location. Like I called to Lowry location to make an appointment in Lowry location and they scheduled me for a different clinic. Like really? So After calling to explain the situation, they said they could still see me if I rushed. I went there, I paid for parking and hurried over, but when I got there, they still couldn’t take me. Now, the soonest reschedule is in a month. This was incredibly disappointing when I needed help now. I’m not going to go there, like I am so over UCHealth I literally have PTSD from this establishment

Love this place- love Molly Yeoman- she is the best.

I'll start by saying the actual MD I visited at this clinic was amazing, she was so knowledgable and took the time to review all of my questions. Would absolutely see her again. However the rest of the staff at the clinic absolutely left something to be desired. I ended up getting charged 7x more than expected because of a coding error that nobody could give me answers or rectify. It turned into a game of he said she said between the office and my insurance. It was impossible to get anyone on the phone, and the clinic kept giving me a generic number to contact with no direction. They refused to pay attention to details, like the correct spelling of my name, so it would not have surprised me their lack of care would transfer over into the billing of services. It's unfortunately such a poor reflection has to be tied to such an amazing doctor. Long story short - the doctors care about the patients, the rest of the staff did not.
