I had a former room mate ( a senior citizen ) now a resident at this facility since May 2001. I visit with this person about once or twice a month.. I am happy that this person is in a safe environment.. This facility DOES give that feeling. He also tells me it took at least 6 months for him to get used to his new living situation. He gets well with other residents sometime laugh and joke with them. The Staff are courteous and polite.. Sometimes he will laugh and joke with them too. Since we've been room mates for 14 years, I am in need of a new adjustment. This is not easy to be living alone as I do feel lonely at times but I'll be okay I'm sure I can volunteer at a food bank etc All I care now is that my former senior room mate is in a safe place free from neglect and he is happy...Thank you Uptown care Center.

This is a horrible nursing home to work in and the Administrator and Don should be fired . They don't care about the residents or staff and it's a haven for drug addict nurses. They can't keep staff because of it it's dirty , the food they serve those people is garbage and the entire management is horrible.

My brother has been a patient at Uptown Health Care Center for over 10 years. As Guardian I find the staff to be quite attentive to my brother's health and well being. It is to be noted that there are no Cases of Covid-19 reported in the facility and this has to be due to the staff and patients following strict CDC guidelines and protocol. I find this statistic to be incredible in this time when almost all nursing homes show high Covid-19 infection of patients and staff. You can feel safe with your families health at this facility.

I do not work directly for Uptown but I have been going there through my agency for over a year now. Great place to work! The staff goes out of its way for their residents.

Uptown took great care of my mother-in-law and they were able to help stabilize her health so she could successfully transition to a memory care facility.

Looks like a homeless shelter. Very dirty holes in the wall, broken furniture, people just sitting in their wheelchairs in the hall sleeping. Very disappointed with this place!
