Would like I experience
Great doctors and PAs. Very professional. I can always get in to see them soon if I am sick. I got covid and they gave me a telehealth appointment right away and put me on Paxlovid. I have gone to them for years now. Love Gillian Feeley PA and Dr. Piper. The rest of the staff are very good also. I get the right diagnosis and help that I need. If you are looking for a great pcp I highly recommend this practice! If you have questions they take the time to answer them in a way that lay people can understand. I never feel rushed when I see them.
Dr.Piper is the best! After searching for a PCP who's in network with my insurance, I stumbled upon Dr.Piper. Since day 1 he has always been extremely professional, and knowledgeable. He really does address all of my concerns and makes me feel at ease after my visits. This is a great place to go for your PCP if you can! Highly recommend
have been a patient for 4-5 years. needed a critical prescription (blood thinner due to past blood clots). They have filled it many many times. Hadn't seen them for a while because of covid. they wouldn't give me a full prescription until I paid for an appt. I scheduled an appointment and asked them to go ahead and fill it. I've never missed an appointment there. we had about 6 phone calls back and forth, they said they'd go ahead and fill the full prescription, but then they only filled a partial one. their need to collect money for the appointment was more important than getting me the prescription I needed. It cost me a bunch of time, but more importantly it cost me an additional $75 for double prescriptions, and they knew that. it should be about providing care. this is a non-profit, but they made sure to charge me full price for all services and they held the threat of a life and death medication over my head in the pursuit of money. not the best karma or nurturing way to conduct oneself imo.
I have been a patient here for the past 6 years, and there has been a ton of turnover to the point where I was considering looking for a new primary care provider. My last two visits have changed my mind. No one really enjoys going to the Dr, let's face it, but it has to be done. Kim, the nurse is always so friendly, helpful and attentive, not to mention so good at what she does. I appreciate her expert phlebotomy skills! She makes you feel comfortable and that someone actually cares. I appreciate that so much! Cari Langfield is very thorough and incredibly knowledgeable. My only hope is that these two lovely ladies stick around for awhile! Thank you for making my experience at the Dr's office something to look forward to instead of dread.
I've been a patient at this clinic for about 3 years. I started seeing Dr. McCoy who was great but unfortunately he retired and sold the clinic to UC Health. I saw Dr. Kim last time, she was friendly and attentive. I would like to continue to see her, however the restructure that UC Health has implemented has me considering otherwise. There is a constant turn over in staff so you never deal with the same nurses or MAs. I will say the receptionist is always friendly and helpful when I arrive for my appointment. As far as accessibility, their phone number goes to a UC Health call center! You cannot call them directly unless a nurse gives you their back line. They don't have a direct number to their clinic and as a patient this is extremely frustrating. Getting prescriptions filled is about a week or two long process. Once, my scripts were called into two incorrect pharmacies. Most recently, when I called to get my scripts filled, it has taken the Dr. 4 days to send them in. Every time I talk to a staff member they say "I will send this over to her high priority" but here we are 4 days later and it hasn't been taken care of. It's disappointing that it always feels like a process to get in touch with them. You have to call the call center, who then calls the nurse or MA at the clinic, then they have to put in a request to the Dr., etc. It's one thing after another and it takes a long time to get things accomplished.
I wouldn't Recommend to anyone. Been calling leaving messages over a week. Not a single phone call back. They obviously don't care about anyones health.
I have been going to this office for 9 years and the staff are amazing and I mean all staff from medical assistants to the Dr.'s. They are always helpful and listen to you when you talk. Dr. Wethington and Dr. Leon are 2 amazing Dr.'s I actually look forward to going into see them. the gynecology Dr. Is amazing as well I highly recommend this practice.
I’ve been going to Uptown Primary Care for the past 5 years and never been disappointed about the care and services I’ve received. They’ve been always on time getting me in for my appointment. Everyone I’ve come to meet has been very professional and kind and courteous. My doctor for the past 2-3 years, Andrea Stand is one of the most caring and wonderful doctors I’ve ever known. She has taken time and listened to every detail of my concerns. I could’ve never asked for a better and more caring doctor! She certainly knows her work as a physician. she works from her heart and cares for her patients.❤️

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
