Ryan Martyn's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Martyn has performed two surgeries on my spine. The first was November 2021 on neck C2-3 and relieved me of my migraines and hot nerve pain. The second was this last November 2022 lower back pain Lumbar 4-5. Both surgeries were a success and I am very happy with Dr. Martyn and his staff.

Performed fusion of L2 to L3 through the left side. Incision healed quickly and was easy to attend to for bandaging and showers. Had minimal discomfort. Very good follow up and very clear discussion of procedures and results.

He listens, which is unusual in the medical field, especially now with so much backed up.

I am recovering from ACDF c4-c6 and I must say that I would have this surgery 10 times over. My recovery has been great so far and I attribute that to the minimally invasive surgery that Dr Martyn performed. I am surprised by my tiny incision that blends perfectly with my natural wrinkles, it looks like it was done by a plastic surgeon. I was prepared to have an extremely sore throat and difficulty swallowing, but I had none of that thanks to Dr Martyn. If you have any reservations on seeing a newer doctor-don’t, I feel his expertise is right in line with doctors who have performed thousands. The only regret I have is not doing it sooner!

Dr. Martyn cares about the safety of his patients and the successful outcome of his surgeries. Following his pre op instructions were instrumental in his optimism for a complete recovery from my L4,L5 fusion surgery. I’m free of pain and discomfort after 4 years of agony, thanks to Dr. Martyn

What can I say, Doctor Martin listened to my life goals and active lifestyle. Dr. Martin and his team found a solution for my lower back pain. I’m now on the road to recovery. Almost pain free, but definitely in less pain than before surgery. It’s only been 6 weeks.

I have been dealing with debilitating back and nerve pain for 4 years prior to seeing Dr. Martyn. One year before Dr. Martyn, I had 2 failed microdiscectomies on my L5-S1 disc. Dr. Martyn performed an alif fusion and being 6 months post surgery, my life has changed. I am slowly working into all my loved activities (running, weight training, paddle boarding, yoga) which I had previously given up. I am sleeping at night, and I can get through a work day pain free. Prior to finding Dr. Martyn @ Spine Colorado I dealt w/ six-months of excruciating pain from a 8-14mm herniated disc @ L4/5. Dr. Martyn and his staff were extremely professional and trustworthy throughout the process, which gave me full confidence in going thru w/ the surgery. I’m three-weeks into healing from an outpatient microdiscectomy and very pleased w/ the results thus far. I’d recommend Spine Colorado and Dr. Martyn to anyone in need of a solid orthopedic surgeon.

I had pain for 6 months and finally went to the doctor. Found Dr. Martyn at Spine Colorado and the rest is history. I had spine surgery for an arthritic cyst. He scheduled an out patient surgery. Took about an hour and a half and. I walked out PAIN FREE!!!! Wow! I have been perfect ever since. My surgery was this Jan and I was ready to get back to normal immediately! I did have to take it east for 6 weeks but I must say I have never felt better!!! Not only does he get a five on a scales of 1 to 5, but he gets a high five!!! I can’t believe I waited so long!
