Dr. Sanders is very thorough. As someone who lost a parent to melanoma and has had one myself, it's important to me that I have someone who takes the time for a good exam. Dr. Sanders caught my melanoma at a very early stage..forever grateful!

Last visit was not great. Booked an 8am visit to not wait, but ended up waiting almost 30 min. to see Susan. When she did come in, she seemed a bit terse and rushed. Not sure why but that was my experience. Not very patient with my questions about treatment options. Just wanted me to decide without much context. I thought that's what a Dr. helps provide - the pros or cons of a course of treatment. Not going back even though I've had good experiences with her in the past.

I’ve been going to Dr. Sanders since I moved to Pagosa Springs 6 years ago. I can highly recommend her. She is professional, personable and has helped me with my aging skin. I trust her explicitly.

The receptionist is so rude! She has hung up on me twice. The medical staff is aloof and not friendly enough for me. They want to rush me through (as if I haven't waited 1/2 hour in the waiting room for them!). I'm going elsewhere.

I've lived in the Southwest all my life and have had many skin cancers. When we moved to Durango 10 years ago we had tried other dermatologists with disappointing results; One doctor had` an aversion to touching patients and another clinic pushed esthetics so much they lost sight of the fact that I was there for Skin cancer exams and treatment. Dr. Sanders was extremely thorough in her exam and treatments/removals. Though very busy that day, she took the time to explain and make recommendations. Staff was efficient and nice. As someone who has seen many dermatologists, I would strongly recommend Dr. Sanders as a great professional for skin cancer treatment.

Dr. Sanders is the ultimate professional - explains issues well, is very thorough, and the office is a joy to visit because of the great staff and the strict COVID protocol. Everyone I know who goes to her, and there are several, thinks she is excellent.

Dr Sanders is fine, but her receptionist, Vicki, is the rudest person i have ever encountered in the business! I went somewhere else just because of her. Unacceptable! I work in a doctor's office myself and would be fired if I ever talked to a patient the way she talked to me. Don't go to this office.
