List of Andre Reed's Reviews
After 3 years of being bounced around different doctors to deal with severely impaired breathing, many tests and inhalers to ease my breathing, I was referred to Dr. Reed. He inspected my throat and saw that I had built up scar tissue from silent reflux. The solution was to cut out the tissue via surgery and he schedule me a week from our first appointment. The surgery went so well that for the first time in 3 years, I can breathe like I used to. Dr. Reed is meticulous and explained the pre op, the operation itself in great detail and the post op care that I will need to prevent the scar tissue from returning. I am so grateful and overwhelmed at how his care and surgery has completely resolved my breathing. I was struggling so much for years and to think that I am back to my normal self that could run half marathons several times per year and not struggle going up the stairs or just speaking to someone is truly miraculous to me. I would recommend anyone with breathing issues not cleared up via inhalers to seek him out. He has changed my life and I am so very grateful to have found him. I will continue to see him to verify the scar tissue doesn't come back. He is a kind, caring, highly skilled doctor/surgeon who knows what he is doing. Thank you Dr. Reed!
I have been going to Dr Reed for years w VCD, I highly recommend him. He is very knowledgeable and compassionate.
Went and saw Dr. Reed. He scheduled me for a swallow study at the hospital;. Spent several hours going through rather uncomfortable tests at the hospital. Several weeks go by and no one ever gets back to me. I finally had to call the office to see if what was the result.
Dr Reed was awesome! He diagnosed me with LPR/silent reflux and it changed my life. After two years of trying to figure out what was wrong with me he figured it out in 10 minutes. That was 2 years ago and I am still better to this day!
Terrible administration in this office. They called me to reschedule my appointment and told me one day and time, and when I showed up told me I was late and I would need me to come back/reschedule. I would never recommend this office nor this doctor. Wasted hour of travel and wasted time of my doctor who referred me.
I found Dr Reed through an internet search. I went to see him because I was having issues with my voice. Little did I know that I had silent reflux. He has kept a close eye on it and continues to manage my care. He is very insightful, helpful, thorough, patient, knowledgeable and has a wonderful rapport with patients. He has also provided me some valuable feedback regarding other related medical issues I am having. I'm so grateful for his help with my health.
After a failed Bilateral Thyroplasty with a different otolaryngologist in the Denver area, Dr. Reed did a different procedure and after a few months (with speech therapy), I have had my voice back again for @8 months and am thrilled. He took time to talk about and consider what impact other health issues could be having on my vocal cord atrophy, and I learned stuff I didn't know before. I have had positive experiences with both Dr. Reed and the office staff.
I called ahead of my appointment to confirm the billing codes, and make sure I would not be billed for anything outside of the normal office visit. They assured me I would not, so I budgeted for the $40 co-pay and came in. The doctor was very nice and knowledgeable, and I left thankful for my access to medical care. He diagnosed me with a slightly deviated septum but told me the main issue was my allergies were not well controlled and referred me to an asthma specialist. He looked in my throat with a small scope and in my nose with the normal pen with a light on it. I thought nothing of it, and went to pay my copay. The receptionist told me they would bill me, but said she didn’t see a copay right now. I should’ve known not to leave there without an itemized bill. I ended up being charged for two surgeries (colonoscopy is the same billing code with my insurance) for the times that he looked in my nose and throat (at the Ear Nose and Throat appointment!) and now owe $110 more than I was quoted (luckily my insurance is solid or it probably would have been $1000). 0/10 would recommend, their billing department is awful and I was lied to.
I found Dr Reed, and his staff, very professional and easy to work with. I highly recommend him.
My wife has had several procedures completed by Dr. Reed over the past few years. We've been pleased with the results every time. My own recent experience getting surgery prompted this review, however. Mine was a relatively major surgery - afterwards the surgeon called my wife to explain complications but said I came out ok and 3 days later we've heard nothing else. Dr. Reed is completely opposite - after he completes a procedure he meets with the family in the waiting room personally to provide status and answer questions. He (and the hospital and anesthesiologist) all called same day to see how she's doing after she gets home. We've always thought he was a stellar Doctor but sometimes it takes a bad experience to make you truly appreciate a great one. Thanks Dr. Reed, you're the best!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
