From the moment myself (patient) and my 3 sisters walked in the front door to our departure....every single person was/is beyond exceptional. They cared for me as if I was a family member, we joked, laughed and talked before as well as after. I wasn't there too long after I woke up. TAY....thumbs up, high five....our banter was spot on &n fun! LEAH, KRISTEN, DARLA....each of you have a special place in my heart, your ability to care for SO MANY folks that come in & out in a day is a breath of fresh air. From cozy warm blankets to being rolled out to the car I never felt I needed anything and if I did you all were right there!!! EXCEPTIONAL CARE!!! BRIAN & WITT....I have no doubt that you both were also exceptional as I don't remember a thing once we rolled into "the room." lol. Thank you for your care!!! Dr. Hewitt & Dana, thank you for making this happen!!! I have no doubt there are more folks I should be thanking by name, you all know who you are. Cheers to you all & with deep gratitude I thank & hug each of you individually!!!!

This review is for my wife's surgeon, Dr. Hugh McPherson, his PA Chris Jackson and the 2 post op nurses Ricky and Lindsey in the OCC Surgery Center. My wife had lower back surgery which went as planned with no complications. This just happened yesterday so she is definitely in the recovery stage at the moment. Back surgery is a very traumatic event no matter what type it is and Dr McPherson and Chris did a great job prior to the surgery explaining everything. There is little for me to say about the surgery itself but I can certainly comment on the recovery at the OCC Surgery Center next door to Peak. The admissions staff was welcoming, very professional and courteous. The bigger story was the pre op and post nurses, Ricky and Lindsey. It was their job to make my wife as comfortable and at ease as possible considering what she was having done. Ricky was with her from both pre op to post op and Lindsey finished off her stay in recovery. Caring is the first word that comes to mind closely followed by professional and simply knew their stuff! This was a difficult experience for my wife to handle and they helped every step of the way. There are not enough words to express her gratitude to the fullest! Thank you and yes, if you need to go this direction we highly recommend Dr. Hugh McPherson, Chris, his staff and the team at the OCC Surgery Center! There are several others that I did not know their names but are included in this review.
