Dr. Spencer has always let me ask questions and very good at answers my questions. I always learn from him. This was a telehealth visit.

His interest in my history and current health gives me great hope! I look forward to this wellness journey with DrSpencer !

Dr. Spencer listens and remembers more about me than I do!

Great physician! He has always shown respect for my concerns for treatment options for my RA. His knowledge of autoimmune diseases is astoundingly expansive and impressive. He has always listened to me and we have, as a team, discussed options for current and future care. As a nurse I appreciate this. We discuss options for treatment and the pros and cons of the different treatments. Together we come up with treatment plans. If I am having acute issues, he always finds time to see me quickly. I do agree with other reviewers about the front desk staff. They seem uncaring and rude. But I am so impressed with Dr. Spencer, that I overlook this. I am there to see him.

This office is impossible to work with and they are completely apathetic as to the effects of an RA flare on the individual. I was told that I needed to be seen for my RX to be refilled, which was fine, and was told to have pharmacy send the refill request, only to have it rejected again. I was told that now I needed labs before I could refill, which would have been nice to know when I spoke to them the first time. They did not care that I had already missed a dose of my medication and it was throwing me into a flare. I do see good reviews, but apparently something has changed and I do not recommend this facility to anyone.

Simply the best Rheumatologist in the Denver area. His staff are great also.

Dr. Spencer is very intuitive, he is able to diagnose what other doctors have missed. Excellent personal follow through that you don't see often from a doctor.

I was initially impressed with Dr. Spencer's thoroughness at our first appointment. He seemed to genuinely care and worked to get an accurate diagnosis when others in his practice did not. However, my latest visit was pretty horrible. He was hurried, talked over me instead of to me and did not listen to how I WANTED my healthcare to go - he was not interested in a partnership, but a health dictatorship and seemed upset that I did not want to be on toxic medications because other methods I am exploring for care are "not in the New England Journal of Medicine". I was wholly disappointed and will be looking for a rheumatologist who is interested in working with me, not against me. Additionally, the staff is HORRIBLY anti-social. People come to the clinic because they are in pain - a little smile, laugh, something to make you feel better would go a long way.

I had to switch prescription renewals to my general practitioner because it became impossible to get prescriptions refilled through Dr. Spencer's office.

I agree with the lady that says Dr. Spencer used to be a good,caring doctor. I don't know about his computer practices, I know that when he does come into the room, even when he is talking to me, I feel like he would certainly rather be somewhere else. If you are in chronic pain, you don't also need the indignity of having to beg for your prescriptions, and for his help. The staff are pretty unhelpful, and unfriendly as well. With the exception of his nurse. Maybe it's not his fault that prescriptions are not filled in a timely manner, but it is the fault of his staff, so it reflects on him. I am already looking for a new doctor, so I definitely do not recommend this one.
