What stood out to me about Dr Tsvankin (Dr. Eddie) when I met him & found out I had a tumor on my spine, was how caring & reassuring he was when explaining in detail what was going on with my body & the tumor. He made time to thoroughly go over any/all questions before, during & after my hospitalization. Dr Eddie & his staff made this scary & difficult time one that I could relax knowing I was in good hands! He, along with his team are skilled, passionate & knowledgeable & I would HIGHLY recommend him to take great care of you or your loved one(s). VERY Grateful in Littleton, CO S. Wright

The day after my husband was diagnosed with a brain tumor in the ER, he was put in contact with Dr. Tsvankin. Dr. Tsvankin was able to look at the MRI and give him a call and go through what he could expect. Dr. Eddie was consistently kind, patient, and honest. He told everything straight - there was no guessing what he meant which was critical in such a stressful time. My husband's condition quickly declined and Dr. Tsvankin visited him on a Saturday while he was in the neuro ward. He acted quickly and sent him into surgery the same day. The surgery was extremely smooth, his team was communicative throughout the process and everybody who took a look at the scans afterward remarked what an excellent job Dr. Tsvankin did on the FULL resection. Of all of the doctors my husband has seen since, Dr. Tsvankin is our favorite by far. Such a beacon of hope and comfort during an incredibly stressful time.

Dr. “Eddie” is a very Knowledgeable and understanding and kind doctor. We started our visit with my wife being pretty emotional and unsure of what was going to happen and Dr. Eddie was able to talk to her, as a normal human, to help her/us understand her condition. Unlike the PA that helped us initially. He was cold with short answers and did not really help us at all. Think of a robot and this guys will fit the bill (no offense, he wasn’t terrible, just robotic). Dr. Eddie came in to help us and the whole situation went from UGH (this s$&t sucks) to thank god for our surgeon. We would definitely use Dr. Eddie again (hopefully we won’t ever have to)! In March of 2021 I was experiencing bilateral sciatica and was diagnosed with extreme spinal stenosis. I was referred to CBSI by a friend who went through the same situation years earlier. I was scared of the potential outcomes of my situation. I met Dr. Eddy in the ED at Swedish. He performed a laminectomy in April and the surgery worked. Unfortunately, I had complications afterwards, including a spinal fluid leak that caused unbelievably painful headaches. Went back to the hospital on a Friday and was told the leak wouldn't be worked on until Monday. On Saturday morning, Dr. Eddy walked into my room, took my hand, and said he brought everyone in on their day off to help me sooner than later. Remembering that moment still gets me choked up. There were days when I thought my life would never get back to normal. It took longer than expected to recover but I have my life back. Thank you Dr. Eddy for your care, compassion and expertise.
