Methadone can make your life better. If your only options are methadone or continuing to struggle, try methadone. You won’t end up worse.BHG Fort Collins can be and usually is helpful in this endeavor.
I dosed here as a guest awhile back. It was great. The front desk admin Branden was incredibly polite and helpful. The paperwork my home clinic sent was incomplete. Yet he was still patient, understanding, and helped me get all of my paperwork in order. My anxieties were already high from the stress of my travels. The staff here helped ease all of my worries immensely. Thank you to the staff at Behavioral Health Group in Fort Collins. It is very much appreciated.
This place used to be great! Lately is has become very negative at the front. If the front is having a bad day or doesn't like you he makes it VERY apparent. He has his favorites and acts like he is doing all of us a favor. Even though they have no counselors the counselors that are there and the program director continue to help out and make things good. Renee is awesome and makes that place better.
Branden, who works the front desk, is the one of the rudest people I have ever met. I had no complaints about this clinic until he started. His negative energy makes me dread going there daily. He makes me feel as though he has no respect for people seeking treatment , as if hes better than us in some way. News flash you salty heifer, YOU AIN'T! And just because I need the medicine you sell doesn't give you the right to treat me like trash. Sorry but the last comment I read told a completely false story about this person and I couldn't remain quiet any longer.
Forget the stigma of methadone clinics, these places save lives. The director works hard cares about the patients. The nurses are great. It’s hard to keep counselors, but they do their best. The front desk receptionist, however, is abysmal. Rude, stuck up, and somehow thinks he is there as a favor to humanity rather than working at his job. Patients come here to try and better their lives and they pay for the services provided. The clinic should really think about the person they hire for the “front of the house”. Opiate addicts don’t need to be further degraded and talked down to every time they walk into a building that they VOLUNTEERED to come to in hopes to get better. Please work on practicing a little humility. Overall though, , this clinic provides a great service and I recommend going here.Give methadone a chance, I promise life gets better.
Superb staff who truly care are what makes BHG Ft. Collins a standout clinic.
The receptionist, Brandon, is AWFUL.
I was a patient here for over 16 months, until December. Came nearly every single day during that span. I was prescribed methadone which I needed to help with my pain and at the same time also helped me as I had become addicted to the pain medications that I was prescribed for the 10 years leading up to this point! Their motto is hope, caring, and respect, ha this is a complete lie and they all know it! Like they're spitting in your face! This place is absolutely no good! I feel so sorry for anyone who needs methadone or suboxone or anything else for addiction or pain management! You are literally just a number here. No matter what you're circumstances are; how high your tolerance is, how long or often you've been using narcotics, how big or small you are, how long it's lasting, etc, etc... they will cap your dose regardless of its helping you or not!Methadone is prescribed in a daily dose of between 50-300 mg. Obviously just like every other drug that's ever been created, the same amount affects everyone differently! Oh but not here! They take none of these factors into consideration! The cap used to be 140. Then "DR." KIRK MITCHELL came along and capped the doses even lower! Now i've seen a lot of dr's and medical professionals all over the country over my 14 years of dealing with severe pain and spasms from a serious hockey injury.. this "dr." Is horrible! DR. KIRK MITCHELL IS THE ABSOLUTE CREEPIEST, WORST PERSON I'VE EVER MET! He sat in the room, not even letting me talk while he sits there with zero bedside manner or compassion, talking down to me while calling my brother and me both "meat sacks" over and over! And don't even bother trying to speak or defend yourself or educate him at all. He will close his eyes, shake his head and completely ignore you..I've seen WAY OVER a 100 dr's, probably closer to 200. And absolutely EVERY SINGLE 1 I've ever looked up online, along with the general public, I've always been able to find their credentials and at least a little info too.. Especially dr's who rely on it to attract patients. Until KIRK MITCHELL came along! NOTHING AT ALL ANYWHERE, as if he crawled out from under a rock! So I asked my brother to look him up, since he's a plastic surgeon. 3 days later he told me kirk was a malpractice dr and had absolutely ALL of his records and info sealed off or deleted!! Go ahead and Google the bum and see! He's definitely not the family dr in Denver, the only 1 that shows up around here!He is literally the CREEPIEST WEIRDO I'VE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH! HE REALLY IS EVIL!! IF THERE IS A HELL, HE WILL 100% BE THERE. AND HOPEFULLY SOON!!I seriously can't overstate how bad this place is! The only good thing here are Ruby (front desk) who is awesome and Dave (counselor) very knowledgeable and friendly.. that's it! I used to dress coming here having to deal with this other people and worthless dr!AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! SERIOUSLY, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED! IF YOU DO GO HERE, I SAY IN SINCERITY, GOOD LUCK!!The good news is that there's a great clinic in Greeley, called Colorado Treatment Services. They operate a lot faster and smoothly, with no long lines or weekly holds on you, in and out, the absolute opposite of BHG! They sincerely care about you and they treat their patients as equals. No looking down on you and judging. They are very friendly and respectful. They will also help you get to the perfect dose and listen to what you're saying. And also have better hours by staying open to 12! Only downside is the daily drive
This place helped save my life. I love the staff at the Longmont and Fort Collins facility. Branden, who works the front desk at the FC office, is so amazing and caring. Can’t say enough great things about this place! Thank you!
This place has been the only treatment facility that has ever helped me. They don't make false promises and use an evidence proven method, unlike other approaches I've tried. Im seriously a different person than I was a year ago. I am in school now and making a better life for myself. To those who say it like switching one addiction for another are completely wrong and opinions should not be taken seriously. That type of stigma actually is responsible for harming people lives. The staff has alot to put up with on a daily basis and honestly deserve alot more than they get for showing up everyday and helping those in need, despite all of the stress and prejudice If you had a hard time most likely you were hard to deal with ,from what I've witnessed.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
