I had surgery to correct eyelid droop due to normal aging. Dr. Rystat did a good job but did not remove enough skin so as a result I have to have the procedure done again. I have been back to the office twice after and he just recommended allergy medicine. Good doctor but not pleased that I have to have it redone.

Dr. Reistad and his staff are the most knowledgeable, caring, kind, and helpful group of medical professionals I have ever encountered. All of my concerns were addressed, the care I received was above and beyond and everything was explained in great detail. I will recommend him, his staff, and the Eye Center of Northern Colorado to ANYONE needing ophthalmic care.

Very short visit. I was wondering about eyelid surgery. Dr. Reistad looked at my eyelid, ordered a eye test and left. I had no idea what the test was for. He made no comment about the ptosis of my eyelids. I will find another eye doctor.

I was able to do an eye lid lift surgery covered by insurance. I was super nervous and afraid as I haven’t had the best luck lately...I typically end up experiencing the worst case scenario when it comes to medical procedures. I’m not going to say the procedure was painless, could have used a lot more happy juice but I’m just 10 days out from the surgery and my eyes look amazing. He did an incredible job.

DR. Reistad seems to be a wonderful DR who knows his profession. My appointments have always been on time with pleasant staff. Havent observed disorganization that has been stated by another poster. I dont see front staff being rude or fakely nice they seem to be busy doing their jobs.

I'm sure this guy is good at what he does, but his scheduling is ridiculous. My wife has had to reschedule 3 times because they keep miscommunicating with her. Every time it pushes her needed surgery back 2-3 months. I wished someone else who could perform this surgery would move into this town. They would make a killing because this place is poorly organized.

Smooth as silk. I had a biopsy taken from a lower eyelid, minimal needle discomfort, by the time I thought he was starting to remove the tissue sample, he was done, like when a friend flicks a stray, fallen eyelash from the area. Looking forward to the job he'll be doing on my eyelid reconstruction. Somebody prays for him. I think I'll join in...and give thanks.

Dr. Reistad is not only amazing at his craft, he is also very compationate and has a great bedside manner. My mom and several other of my family members see him for cosmetic and medical procedures. They always have a wonderful experience w/ great outcomes. He explains things thoroughly and listens to concerns. His staff is welcoming and always on top of things! Would highly recommend Dr. Reistad!

I would highly recommend Dr. Reistad! He is extremely thorough, always takes the time to listen to my concerns and is very companionate. Not to mention an amazing surgeon! He did my skin cancer reconstruction after having a huge skin cancer removed from my eyelid. I thought I was going to look terrible. You can’t even tell I had anything done! It looks amazing! Now, I see him for Botox and am very pleased with my results.

First repair surgery completed by Reistad was not successful so had to have the surgery repeated. He does NOT explain procedures and does NOT allow more than a few seconds with patients at appointments. Staff all seem rushed. Seriously question whether office is more interested in $$ than helping people. Was not able to schedule surgery follow-up appointment within time frame since appointment times were "not available." We will find some place else to go even if we have to go to Denver.
