Did not feel very listened to, in regards to reactions to medication and a desire to approach the situation differently. I appreciate the time but would not go back to her :/

Had my new pt physical with Dr. Van Farrow. She didn’t ask me any questions about my general health or mental health. She listened to my lungs for five seconds and my heart for three. She did fill my meds…

I came in for some woozy symptoms that had been reoccurring and she basically spent most of the exam selling me on the clinic (it was my first time), did a very brief exam, and then passed me off to blood work. Blood came back clean, I still had symptoms, spoke with my dad and he had the same and had been diagnosed with vertigo. I’ve been treating myself for vertigo and symptoms have gone away. Wish she would’ve considered my ears too. I just felt like she didn’t believe me the whole appointment.

Dr Vanfarowe and Shana are absolute lifesavers! Dr Vanfarowe has been my Dr for 7yrs now starting out seeing her because of a back injury. Before than I was so healthy I didn’t even have a primary care physician. Now Dr Vanfarowe see’s my wife, father and son and we all love her. Dr Vanfarowe has always listened to me, my input, my ideas. She takes her time asking questions and it is obvious that she truly cares about her patients. Her treatments have been effective, she is also very experienced and smart explaining things in such a manner that it’s easy to understand and remember. She has always checked up on me after ER visits and surgeries and responds quickly to my many questions. My wife was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and Dr Vanfarowe even called us after hours to speak with us regarding mammogram results and future treatment expectations. She spent an hour of her own time after hours on the phone with us helping us understand the diagnosis. I recently had a bilateral knee replacement surgery with cadaver ligaments through OCR DR Hartman was the surgeon and the procedure has been a disaster since it started. All the way from forgetting pre op nerve blocks to not returning calls to not checking up on me I can’t say enough about the disaster this procedure has been. Had it not been for Dr Vanfarowe stepping in and basically taking over my post op care I don’t know what I would have done. She has been there for me answering questions and helping me understand what I’m experiencing. I feel like I was abandoned by OCR and Dr Hartman but Dr Vanfarowe has gone above and beyond making sure I’m alright. I would highly recommend Dr Vanfarowe! Her bedside manner is second to none and she has treated my entire family making us feel like we are her own family and important to her. It’s obvious she is in this field because she wants to help others and she has absolutely helped us tremendously. If your looking for a good family Dr I’d suggest Vanfarowe any day of the week. My family and I have been patients Dr Van Farowe for years. She is terrific!!! She is comforting, concerned, Very warm and I feel totally comfortable with talking to her she listens and understands and goes beyond the call of duty.... she has helped me in several difficult medical situations I have been in… She has been a wonderful doctor to me!!

Rude, unprofessional, and didn't help me at all. Waste of time and money. If you make an appointment at this office make sure it is not with Dr. Van Farowe.

Dr. Van Farowe is a very caring person who will bend over backwards to help you.
