Erin Schrunk's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Schrunk is a superb doctor who has met all my health care needs.

Dr. Schrunk has been our baby's doctor since day one and has always been an outstanding advocate for our child when we've had to be referred to specialists. She is also my doctor as well and really takes the time to listen to concerns. She really is the best doctor I've ever had. I would recommend Dr. Schrunk to anyone, adult or child.

Listened, took time to talk with me, cared about my physical and mental health, follows up with necessary issues in a timely manner. So glad she is my primary care physician.

At first Dr Schrunk seemed great. I needed an appointment and couldn’t get in so I saw a different doctor who treated me and told me to follow up with Schrunk. I finally get an appointment with Schrunk and the appointment is rushed, the medical assistants didn’t give me proper instructions for testing, and they whispered about me after forgetting the door was open. I contacted them again to get some more testing and the medical assistants ignored my messages for almost two weeks until I called and they said I needed an appointment. They’re truly about only giving the minimum amount of care. I ended up being diagnosed with a rare illness at an urgent care and when I called dr schrunk to get medication before I get to the surgeon, their medical assistant asked me where I was diagnosed and then said there’s nothing she can do after I told her urgent care. Medical assistants are the biggest downfall here. I regret seeing schrunk in the first place.

Dr. Schrunk is the dedicated, compassionate provider that I desperately needed in my life. During my first appointment with her, it took me one sentence to explain before she knew exactly I meant and how I felt. Even though it seemed quick, I truly felt that I was heard and that my provider honestly cares to help me. The first medication she suggested I am loving still, and I feel better than I have in years. She always checks in on how I am overall and remembers details about other aspects of my life. I would highly recommend her to family and friends.

Dr. Schrunk is smart, organized, and detail-oriented.

She is in Fort Collins, CO now and I agree with the one-star review. At first visit, she appears to be nice, but then she is completely ignorant of how patients doing. My husband's one of the blood pressure medicines was not working and it was making him very sick. Even though the repeated request of discussing it with the doctor Schrunk we could only talk via nurses. She did not care about any side effect we want to share, but she (through her nurses!) keep increasing the dose which lead my husband's blood presure to go above 160. It was midle of the day, in a week, and when he called her office to talk with the doctor, only suggestion was given to my husband was to go to ER (of course again via nurses.) The doctors office did not even register his phone call, as a problem, She/they never even followed up with a phone call. She is one of the least caring doctors we have ever seen with a very high medical bill. Fortunately, we changed the doctor immidiately.

Dr. Schrunk seemed like a fine family physician during the initial appointment and the practice she is at gives the impression of sincerely caring about their patients' healthcare needs. The reality is the practice cares only about providing minimum care as required by law. Followup care was absolutely terrible and I was left in worse health after my visit. The doctor refused to talk on the phone directly about my condition/situation and relayed all communication through unorganized nurses.
