Saw dr Ray He showed my mri Explained the situation In laymen’s terms Scheduled surgery so fast I’m excited to be fixed AMAZING service!! Update Things are well Dr ray Really does stick with you Get things done Even in a pandemic!! Amazing service 12 star review Update second surgery went well The good doctor is awesome to work with
I went to Dr. Ray back in 2019 re to my neck. Is the nicest Dr I have been to in long time. I am having problems with Spine and we remembered him. Called and got an appt right away. I have been pushed back and forth with 3 other Dr's for 5 months and they did nothing. I am sorry that we did not remember Dr Ray but it was in 2019.
Dr. Ray and his staff changed my life About 4 years ago. I had been in pain for over 10 years, finally finding I had a herniated and degenerated disc. I had a discectomy done at another facility with no relief after the surgery and possibly even worse pain. I could barely move, get out of bed, or even tie my shoes, let alone work or do the things I love, and I was a 31 year old former collegiate athlete. I had a friend who recommended Dr. Ray to me who had a similar experience as me, and from my first visit, I felt like he was sincere and he took his time giving me every available option. He made me feel comfortable and gave me hope that I had lost in ever being able to live the life I wanted. His small practice and personal attention I felt from his staff made me relax and not just feel like another number to push through. After he performed my disc replacement surgery, my life changed. I am now 35 and able to do everything I love again, pain free! I’m a teacher, coach volleyball, teach fly fishing, play sports, workout, and do the most simple things like sneezing or tying my shoes. At times I have to remind myself not to take any of this for granted as it is so easy to forget the pain I was in now that is is gone. I truly feel I would not be able to do any of this without Dr. Ray and would be in a very different place in my life in so many ways. I tell everyone about my experience and am more grateful than I can express. Thank you!!!
I saw Dr. Ray a few years ago, 2015-2016 timeframe. I originally was sent to another location where I found I had a herniated disc. The other doctor performed a microdiscectomy with no change in health. The same doctor didn't even follow up with me and instead pawned me off on Dr. Ray, which in the end, I'm glad he did. When Dr. Ray moved to his own location, I followed. He originally did a steroid injection which greatly reduced the pain (I was on daily pain meds prior to). I decided I wanted another shot at surgery, which was to cover the original disc that wasn't done completely and a new disc that had herniated since. He executed the surgery well and I felt immediate relief. I was concerned for a little while over my capabilities, but after about 2 years, I felt I could do just about anything I wanted. I still have my limitations, but none of which are affecting my life to keep me from my hobbies. I can't thank him and his staff enough as they were always pleasant, honest, upfront with options, and obviously very capable.
Very professional, I would recommend them.
Dr. Ray is awesome! He made me feel comfortable before surgery. He is great at what he does.
He the best
While I haven't even had surgery yet (upcoming cervical disc replacement and possible lumbar fusion fix-done by another surgeon), I am 100% confident in Dr. Ray!! I appreciate his conservative approach. Even though an xray didn't show the extent of my issues, he ordered an MRI which confirmed my symptoms. Tess is extremely efficient!! I appreciate the small office atmosphere and attention to detail that she demonstrates. Yes, you do have to leave a message most times, but she either calls you back right away or texts you and tells you she is working on your request or question and will call as soon as she has an answer- which is usually the next day or sooner! I'm sorry, but you never get that in a large office-everyone is too busy passing the buck and there's always red tape! Thank you both, and I look forward to feeling better.
Referred to Ray. Symptoms were excruciating back pain, numbness on right side from ribs down. History of spine/disc problems, previous fusion, ruptured disc, etc. Seen by Ray in his office after MRI. Advised Ray that I was sure of another ruptured disc. He reviewed MRI and advised there was nothing on the MRI to cause the symptoms. Advised my wife that it was possibly a “need for attention.” Left Rays office and went directly to ER. Found to have ruptured disc imbedded in nerve. While at ER, Ray called my wife to apologize, advising the radiologist had just advised him of the rupture. Excused his error as rupture was in an unusual location. Sought treatment elsewhere. Chalked it up to everyone makes mistakes. Then I received a bill. I called to discuss the bill, advising I didn’t feel I should have to pay for a missed diagnosis, wasting my time and delaying treatment of a miserably painful issue. I was told Ray would call me to discuss the bill on a specific date/time. No call. Now I’ve received another bill with overdue notice. I’ll pay it to avoid collections, but fair warning to anyone considering Ray.
I saw dr Ray last February and he sent me for xrays and said to call after getting them. I called his office at least 20 times during working hours and left messages and to this day have never heard from them except to get a 170.00 bill in the mail last month

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
