I've had the pleasure of seeing Tierra at Maitri Family Wellness for three Craniosacral Therapy sessions, and I couldn't be more impressed with the results. Each session was incredibly supportive to my nervous system, helping me achieve a level of relaxation and balance that I haven't felt in a long time. Tierra's expertise and gentle approach made me feel completely at ease, and her ability to tune into exactly what my body needed was remarkable. I highly recommend Jimmy and his Pediatric Shonishin Acutherapy Technique at Maitri Family Wellness! He has seen both of my daughters (ages 7 & 4) a number of times since May of this year and they really enjoy going to their appointments. They actually ask when they get to see Mr Jimmy again! The treatment studio is complete with a comfortable seating area with natural elements and super fun toys, which are my daughters’ favorite, and a separate treatment room with a warm, heated table. My girls also enjoy requesting their preferred music to listen to during their treatments. Throughout the treatment, Jimmy is highly intuitive and gentle as my daughter guides which tools are used on what body part. Both girls now ask specifically for the “smoke stickers” and tell Jimmy where they want them placed. I have noticed great results from the treatments as well! My girls have more regular bowel movements, less mood swings, and are sleeping more soundly. They can’t wait for their next appointment! Thanks Jimmy!

We are so thankful and grateful for Tierra/Maitri Family Wellness. She worked with our newborn son who was born via c-section and needed some support. Each session was in our home and that made it feel so accessible and easy. Our son benefited from each visit with noticeable differences after each session. As a friend of a friend put it, if every infant could receive cranial sacral support in the 4th trimester they'd all be better humans!

Working with Tierra has been an incredible experience for our family. We initially reached out because our two week old daughter was having trouble with breastfeeding and needed a tongue tie and lip tie release. After each session with Tierra, we noticed immediate differences. Our baby gained an increased range of motion in her neck and legs and there were noticeable releases of tension. Tierra has also worked with our two-year-old and we have noticed a positive difference in his energy as well. Tierra taught us some back and foot massages that we can do to help calm him down. He now constantly requests these massages because he enjoys how relaxed it makes him feel. Tierra is easy to connect with and her impact has been so valuable to our family. My husband and I can’t wait to schedule our own sessions!

Tierra is a wonderful cranial sacral therapist, very skilled and caring. If you’ve never had this kind of therapy before, make sure you ask for an explanation during your intro session. You may think she is not doing much until you get home and find you are tired and sore (in the best way)…and the next morning you wake up feeling so much better.
