List of Mark Rotman's Reviews
Dr. Rotman has been my and my wife's primary care physician for many years. He's always been great, especially in the last decade when I've had some complicated health issues. Because of those health issues, I have a broad collections of other physicians now; and Dr. Rotman is the best of the bunch. My wife would give him 5 stars, too.
Dr. Rotman is hands down the best I’ve ever seen. I considered him a friend as well. I’ve since moved to Georgia but thinking on flying back once a year to use him. It’s sort of sad really. Doesn’t say a lot for the rest of the doctors I’ve seen since. Dlh.
Good doc, like him so far after my first visit. He plays sports, as I do, so it's a good fit. Update: Dr. Rotman was not a great fit for me and I only lasted one year with him. Hi style was not a fit.
He's been my general practitioner since I was born. I have a range of disabilities and complications arising from them, and he's always taken time to make sure I get the treatment I need, or refer me to the person best suited for the task. Even when I'm meeting with another doctor at the practice, he always tries to at least pop in and say hi if he has the time. I recommend him and AFM West in general to any and everyone looking for a high-quality general practitioner's office.
I first saw Dr. Rotman by chance; I wanted to become a patient with a different provider in his office, but that provider didn't have an opening for months. Dr. Rotman had an opening, so I took the appointment. At my first appt, his nurse shared that he is a top-rated doc in the area, is thorough, and is sometimes a little behind schedule. This caught my ear as my favorite doctor to date (a family practice doc who delivered my first baby) was almost always late, but it was because she honored her time with her patients and was thorough. She never rushed her patients - I loved that about her. I was hopeful Dr. Rotman might be similar and he is (thorough, patient, kind, good bedside manner). Same-day appointments aren't a guarantee, but he's told me to ask to speak with his nurse if the schedulers say he's unavailable and that's worked well so far. He has been my primary doc for 3 years or so and is now my preschool-aged child's primary doc because we both trust and like him.
Dr. Rotman saw me back in 2007 and asked me to go on Lipitor. As a 30 year old guy, I was not interested in going on medications and so I changed my doctor. I made life style changes, within 2 years my bad cholesterol was in control, and good cholesterol went up. Glad, I didn't listen to him. Now, at age 42, still my cholesterol readings are normal with no medicines.
I was a patient of Doctor Mark for many years, until I moved to Europe. He also cared for my daughter. When Dr Mark found out my daughter played the sax and had it in the car he insisted she go it and play for him. (She was 7 and just starting lessons)He encouraged her every appoint to keep playing. He always cares for the entire patient and not just the illness. He always took his time, didn’t dance around the bush, but also offered direct help on how to solve whatever issue we had. I loved him as our PCP!
My Obgyn was having trouble getting the right dosage of estrogen after my hysterectomy. Dr. Rotman was my family physician and he used a different type of estrogen and it worked right away. He was always patient even when I had three active little boys while he was trying to talk to me. He was respectful caring and listened. He treated our whole family physically and in addition for me mentally.
Dr. Rotman has been my doctor for many years and has my complete trust. The staff is always curtious. There have been times where I have called in looking for anwers, and always received a call back in the same day.
Dr. Rotman is the finest doctor I have ever had treatment from in eight decades. I have had treatment from him for over twenty five years.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
