List of Monica Serrano Toy's Reviews
Listens well, explains everything, never makes you feel rushed, is relatable. I've been a patient for 20 years; love her.
Dr Toy has been my primary physician for 12 years and she is the best doctor I've known. She listens, is thorough, and cares about helping her patients be well. Highly recommended.
Dr Serrano-Toy kept playing games with my my meds until I finally missed an appt and she not only removed me from her practice but rescinded all of my prescriptions for my asthma medication. Again: I have life-threatening conditions that require drugs that this doctor PULLED from the pharmacy to prevent me from getting them. Not recommended.
Amazing doctor with great attention to detail. Would not hesitate to refer all of my friends and family. Dr Serrano-Toy takes the time to listen to your concerns and address each item.
Dr. Serrano-Toy was both mine and my husbands doctor many years ago. I live in Cheyenne and feel more then willing to drive to Ft. Collins to see her. She listens to the issues and puts you on a game plan to correct them. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to see a doctor that truly cares about their patients.
Her practice integrates the whole person, and she encourages behavior change when that is evidently more important than reliance on prescriptions. very gentle in sensitive matters, and respectful of my life as a mother. She values my life and role and i appreciate that.
I find Dr. Serrano-Toy is very engaged when we meet, and probes for recent issues, along with comprehensive health history questions, to ensure she fully understands all factors relevent to my health.
Charges for things that are supposed to be free (yearly visit) by lying about doing more than she did. Won't give refills for daily rx that I've taken for 15 years. I have to call every time to get my pharmacy to reorder. Completely judgemental about my personal life (nothing medical, just my relationship). I have medical knowledge and she still talks down to me.
Best family doctor I have ever seen. I have now been seeing Dr. Toy (as most call her) for more than 10 years now. She is the only family physician that I would ever recommend. She is one of the few family doctors that I have met that reminds me of the good old days when doctors actually listened to the whole picture and cared about their patients, vs. farming through patients and throwing prescriptions their way. Every person that I have recommended to her has thanked me and has made her their primary physician. We also did not need to go see a pediatrician for our two little ones as she is more than qualified to take care of newborn, infants and toddlers. If you go see her, just take a look at all the baby pictures in her exam rooms of current or past newborn patients; that should be a mark of endorsement in itself!
If it wasn't for her I would probably still be wondering why I was orange. Love her and she sets me straight.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
