Both knees replaced, dr trumper did a great job

On my very first visit I made very clear to dr Trumper that I don't want to receive treatment to my knees that reduces pain but at the same time inhibits proliferation of the cartilage. He insured me that treatment he recommends doesn't have such an adverse side effect and on my second visit he administered the treatment. A couple of months later I saw a different doctor in their organisation for a another medical issue. I asked her if the same medication that I received from dr Trumper can be used in this case too. She didn't recommend it because, she said, the pain is not severe and that medication inhibits the cartilage proliferation. It triggered my curiosity. I searched internet and even talked to a couple of doctors. The internet is full of information about that medication and about that particular side effect. I made numerous attempts to reach dr Trumper by multiple phone calls and letters. Finally he called me and said that other doctor isn't knowledgeable enough and that medication is absolutely safe but he completely failed to prove his statement. I continued my research but I haven't found a single article that would suggest that the medication doesn't inhibit the cartilage proliferation.There was a small balance of about $50 that I owed to dr Trupmer for that treatment, which I refused to pay. Over the next months I wrote to him a few more letters, made many phone calls including the calls to his nurse. He never got back to me. Moreover, he turned my unpaid balance to a collection agency.   Beware of dr Trumper!  Stay away from him!

Outstanding Doctor and Surgeon, highly recommended!

I am very pleased with my right knee replacement by Dr. Trumper and the evaluation I received 10 yrs. earlier. To say the whole operation (no pun intended) is scientific is an understatement. He knows what he is doing. I followed up with Chris in PT at OCR who was really good again.Dr. Grey took care of me for rotator cuff surgery and that was another excellent result. Both recoveries are painful and require sustained effort to regain strength and mobility.

I wish there was a no star option. Trumper replaced my dads knee and it later developed a MRSA infection. Long story short, Trumper decided to open him up and clean it out. The knee became infected again and my Dad was told to just live with it. I sit in his hospital room with him right now after his latest surgery performed by a new Dr. Who said he had the worst infection he had ever seen. An infection that ate through bone, tissue and muscle. This infection would have killed most men. So, thank you, Trumper for almost killing my dad. He may have to have his leg amputated if this doesn't clear up. Our new Dr. thinks you should be handled and can't believe how neglectful you were with him. That infected knee never should have been just cleaned out, it should have been replaced again. Shame on you!

They just don't get any better! Dr. Trumper is a wonder surgeon and has a great personality as well. A real man of character and class. thanks doc :) dp

I had both my knees replaced in March of 2015 by Dr. Trumper and couldn't be happier. Did not figure I would see much of him and was surprised how often he saw me on my follow ups. Would go back if I needed any orthopedic surgery. Have and would recommend him.

The office where this doc practices is AWFUL! The office would only allow me to make an appointment with his PA as they stated no one saw the doc prior to his PA. His PA diagnosed me with an dislocated knee cap and sent me to PT. Fortunately, I went for another opinion where I was immediately admitted for a 3 hour emergency surgery for the following: FCL - grade 3 tear, ACL -grade 3 tear, lateral meniscus - total repair, and three other items addressing the knee cap injury, none of which included a dislocated knee cap. I was admitted immediately b/c the PT I attended between the Trumper's PA visit and the second opinion, I incurred decreased blood flow due to the PT the PA ordered. It's an arrogant office filled with people who have no right to strut their egos. Go to the Steadman Clinic, where the real doctors practice and you actually get an appointment with a knowledgeable awarded physician.

He's trying to tell me it's not that bad, well, now, it's to the point I can hardly walk and my rheumatoid medicine isn't working and I'm being told by that dr that I do need knee replacement. Just wish people would quit giving me the run around and DO SOMETHING!
