Stephanie Lockwood's Online Review Report Card

The only reason I ended up with Dr Lockwood is that my previous doctor, whom I adored, suddenly passed away and I needed to get meds refilled quickly. She was available, and I can see why. I’ve never gone to a doctor less caring and less compassionate than she was. I gave her 3 chances, and I am done. In her notes, she claimed to have discussed certain issues with me, when in fact, she didn’t say a word about them. Her exams are rushed and perfunctory. She comes across as totally indifferent, as there’s no warmth or caring in her demeanor. I’ll be looking for another doctor asap.

Dr. Lockwood was clear and helpful in answering my questions. She and her nurse provided open communication and I felt supported and heard.

I have seen Dr. Lockwood for almost a decade. She listens and helps to address my health concerns. She even called in a prescription while I was out of town.

I wholeheartedly agree with the other negative reviews. Dr. Lockwood does not listen and has poor communication skills. She is bad about talking down to patients, even on topics where she is uninformed. Her dogma and lack of communication skills with me and her staff caused me significant stress when trying to get standard blood tests. My annual physical was very perfunctory with no attention to my specific health needs. Find another physician.

Stephanie is a caring physician to spends time with me and answers all of my questions. She is thorough and does not hesitate to refer me to a specialist if she feels unable to address my physical problem(s).

Dr. Lockwood did not give me correct information regarding birth control and also prescribed me the incorrect one which left me with awful symptoms. Her nurse also gave me a flu shot and incorrectly placed it and gave me bursitis in my shoulder. I will never go back.

Dr. Lockwood listens sympathetically to my complaints, treats me with dignity and respect, and helps me stay healthy.

Grossly incompetent. My wife saw her for over a year chasing a stomach issue. She was repeatedly denied a referral to a GI specialist. Since leaving Dr Lockwood, my wife has been diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer. I don’t blame Dr Lockwood for the cancer, but consider her obstinate approach a cause for the staging. She told my wife her gallbladder was functioning adequately and then referred her to a surgeon for removal instead of sending her in for a simple endoscopy. Strongly considering a malpractice suit. STAY AWAY!
