Ben on the inpatient side accused me of being a sexual predator. He thought I needed to be challenged. Guess he was right. Never spoke with him before this. Thought the point of the call was to be supportive based upon my needs. Guess I was wrong. Good thing Ben helped me identify my needs for me. This is the one thing that matters when getting mental health services: Being told what your needs are and that you need help from a stranger being able to identify your actual needs for yourself. Glad Ben was there to assist with violating me. Honestly don’t know how I would violate myself without him!
Staff does care about you. No judgements
One person(David) recomended EMDR. https://youtu.be/PZmvk30gJEQ?si=KMdS4hInY9d6Nkwi This is a video I watched seems reputable about EMDR that lead me to question why it was recomended.
Terrible terrible company. Started off small and wonderful and then capitalism got to em' and they've exploded into multiple different locations, even creating a new psychiatric hospital for Larimer County. Their psychiatrists are awful. Their therapists are "ok". If you want real healthcare and people who are actually professional, use UCHealth. And their current crisis center is in shambles. The staff there are wonderful and kind. The psychiatrists are clueless and will throw the most harmful meds at you first like Depakote or Seroquel. They even convinced me last year not to do ketamine therapy. I ended up consulting my UCHealth Psychiatric DNP, and she immediately approved ketamine treatment. And I'm glad it did because it saved my life, no thanks to SummitStone. Their mental health resources are poor. Their mental health "clubhouse" in town is in tatters as well. I had an incident occur there that caused the diagnosis of cPTSD. Nothing was changed. We never got Zoom phones like promised for over 1.5 years, no panic buttons, nothing. Shame on you, SummitStone. Your lack of care has hurt me and it's hurting my best friend currently who is under your care.
Having an addiction in today's world is more common and prevalent than most people know. It's a disease that causes many difficult and different experiences, for not only the individual, but the family unit, economy, community, and more. However, after searching for appropriate care for myself and my family, I found Summit Stone Healthcare, whose team actually treated the entire situation and the whole person, instead of grouping people together and using a "blanket" treatment. They have amazing resources for every situation, from child care, housing, food and even employment. One counselor said "if your therapist is your only resource, we're not doing it right." I found some extremely effective counselors, particularly Angela Conly, who puts so much effort into being down to earth, compassionate and encouraging to each client and treats us like the snowflakes we are. It's extremely clear that she has an enormous passion for what she does, and excudes joy in her approach. Learning from her has taught me to be grateful in my life again. I'm truly blessed to have her, and the whole team at Summit Stone, supporting my sobriety and life-long goals.
Whats the point of 24/7 crisis services if you just get hung up on?
I would actually give the entire organization ZERO stars if I could! And I would like to quote the 80s band Missing Persons "what r words 4 when Noone listens anymore! "
I understand that certain precautions must be taken to ensure people dont harm themselves but Summitstone's conditions are appalling leading to more issues down the line. They refused to supply protective footwear in the public showers which seem to rarely get clean. They also do not clean lockers after previous patients leading to nit infestations spreading to other patients. Something needs to done to not dehumnize people that just need help. Though many workers had so much heart, the facility and it's conditions were disturbing probably from lack of funding which is understandable. Still can not recommend it after seeing how it gave so many people in crisis more trauma with how the were treated.
I couldn't get help after P.o. told me to go. I'm losing my hair.
Complete waste of time and only want to patients there to keep them on prescription drugs if you want to trade addictions come here

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
