Village Medical's Online Review Report Card

I went to the clinic for a Prevnar 20 vaccine. I had to fill out a fairly long online form but I believe that is just for 1st visits on their new computer system. I told the woman at the front desk I wanted to discuss the RSV vaccine too and see if I could get it too. She took some paperwork to the back and asked me to fill out the online form. I was called back in a few minutes and asked about the RSV vaccine and was promptly told “there’s no such thing”. I figured she was uninformed and left it at that. She gave me my vaccine and escorted me back to the waiting room to finish the form. I had to look something else up on my phone and when I came back to the form, it had an error message and told me to start again. I wasn’t overly thrilled about losing the first ~15 min I had already put into it. But I started again. Luckily, it saved my work and it only took me another 7-10 min to complete it. After finishing, I left the office. I’ll probably have to check with my PCP about the RSV vaccine to make sure it’s appropriate for me. The staff were all courteous and nice (but less than informed on recent new vaccines). I will say I’m not overly enthused about losing the UCHealth MyHealthConnection but I’m told they’ll still be exporting data to populate the medical parts. I’ll still have to request refills and and ask questions on their new platform. One thing I’m very unhappy with is trying to speak to someone at any of the clinics. You’re guaranteed to be on hold for at least 20 minutes before someone picks up. I let the person know (nicely) I was not overly thrilled about having to wait 20 min. I expected the usual “I’m sorry” but what I got instead was a “Well you know we are quite busy, what do you need”. Well perhaps a new clinic that will treat their patients more courteously. What I really think they need is an answering service that takes your name and number and then someone returns your call when they have time so you don’t have to wait on hold for a long time (like so many other “quite busy” companies have). If I didn’t like my PCP so much I’d probably be looking for a new group. I’m also hesitant to change due to the number of clinics no longer taking Medicare or new Medicare patients. I’ll still be nice to the over-worked staff which I’m sorry that they are.

Dr. Toth was amazing. Very thorough in her explanations of my situation. I came in a little anxious, she has a very calming nature allowing me to be more confident in my recovery plan.

My Physician is a great listener She really cares. About my condition and even takes extra time. I don't know what I would do without her. She is my cheer leader. And, that means alot to me because to share problems take a vulnerability. If you were for example have high cholesterol someone could hurt your feelings easily. My doctor is non-judgmental which allows me to open up to the truth.

Excellent front desk and medical staff. Felt seen, cared for and included in medical process ...every moment.

I saw Mallory Arthun, NP and she was incredibly friendly and helpful with my appointment. I did not feel rushed and she spent quality time listening to my questions and concerns. Highly recommend!
