I saw Dr. Gottschalk in November for a 2nd opinion regarding the excruciating pain in my shoulder and back. He reviewed my MRI and Xrays and spent the time to clearly explain what problems existed and why surgery was recommended. My appointment was on time and not rushed. By the end of the consult, I understood the problem, the recommended procedure and the extensive rehabilitation involved - and why. Thank you Dr. Gottschalk, you were so helpful!

Dr. Gottschalk was very attentive, listened to my complaints, and explained the problem I was having so I could understand what the problem was. I would highly recommend him. I am 84 with muscle weakening from a prior femur break.

Never again, this was and still is by far the weirdest experience I've ever had with a surgeon!! This man scoped my knee and told me he could buy me another 5 to 10 years before a replacement was needed so I rolled with it. Started therapy then my Two week follow up came up and seemed to go well. The next two appointments were canceled by his office staff stating something came up and I could see the NP, so I did, 2 more weeks off work and another appointment scheduled AND canceled by his staff"he's still not in the office" . And they have no idea when and if he will be back!!! Its Been 2 months since my surgery and I have not seen him yet and still not back to work and now MORE PAIN. second opinion determines I need a total knee replacement!! Still haven't heard from this man!! Poor service shouldn't even be in practice!!

Dr. Gottschalk was my follow up doctor after an injury in the mountains. He was not only a good doctor but he listened and answered every question I had. It was a very good experience after a very bad fall.

Dr. Gottschalk repaired my fractured clavicle in January of this year. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Throughout this challenging experience he has been meticulous, thorough in his explanations, optimistic,caring and compassionate. He will be my orthopedic physician from now on.

Dr. Gottschalk has seen my son for a broken elbow and my daughter for sports related concerns and he has been nothing short of awesome in his care! He speaks directly to my kids regardless of their age and listens to them.Also wanted to make sure Sara (his assistant) gets a big mention as well. She was extremely easy to get along with and both of my kids had a great time laughing and working with her.Thanks for all you did!

After shredding my meniscus and tearing my ACL in half, Dr. Gottschalk helped make me feel like part of the team. He educated me on the different types of graphs, provided resources and education, and encouraged me to do my own research as well. The surgery was incredibly successful. 8 weeks post op and full range of motion and well on the road to recovery.When consulting with you not only is he there, but he is actually Present. His mind isnt elsewhere he is there and focused on your needs and your worries and your concerns. I could not reccomend him any more.
