Worst experience I have had in a cardiologist office. Went in just for a check up, and came out scared, confused, pushed, and tremendously uncomfortable. My EKG came out perfectly normal per Dr. B’s review, however, you can tell she was trying to push extra tests on me that my insurance would not cover. Meaning, I would have to pay $200-$300 dollars out of pocket for an extra test, that would go in depth to check my heart. Of course, that would be perfectly fine and understandable if my EKG results came out worrisome or abnormal. After I told Dr. B I would think about it, and talk to my husband for a second opinion, I went in the front to check out. Upon checking out, one of the receptionist stated, and I quote, “Are you positive you do not want to take this extra test that Dr. B is suggesting, so we can check your heart again in depth? Do you understand the risks if you do not take this test?” I was just in a state of shock. I couldn’t believe my ears and how I was being treated/frightened. To scare someone just to receive extra money from them, is beyond disrespectful. It is not okay to scare vulnerable patients that are already frightened walking into a doctors office. Taking advantage of patients that are already nervous to get back their test results, is not the right thing to do. I will NEVER recommend this cardiologist office to anyone again.

Terrible service from the billing department. Very confusing bills that never resolved years after years, and multiple bills for the same items that you have pay several times. and when you try to get things clarified and hope them to resolve, Laura from the billing department will just hang up on you.

Not recommended, especially from the billing department. After your service, you will get many confusing bills, one overlapping with another, and you will have to pay the same thing several times before they stop sending you different bills.

Dr. Begum and her staff are amazing.

I recently moved to Texas and needed a new cardiologist. I did my research and decided Dr. Begum was a good choice. I have seen her 3 times now and am completely satisfied with my choice! She and her staff are thorough, friendly, take time to answer questions and follow through on requests. Turns out I have a major heart issue I was unaware of and they are leading the charge to get me back to full health. Thanks Team!

This is not a reflection on Dr. Begum but rather her front office staff, who are most unhelpful and uncooperative. I called to make a payment on my spouse's account and was told they won't take payment over the phone (check or credit card) nor do they have an online payment facility. The only way to make a payment is to mail in a check. C'mon people....this is 2020!!! Who writes checks nowadays? We will not be returning to this office anymore.

Dr. Begum is an excellent cardiologist. She listens and is never in a hurry. She is very knowledgeable and answers all the questions you might have. Her office staff is very friendly and efficient. I highly recommend her.

Professional, caring doctor. She listens carefully and spend all the needed time to evaluate and treat the problem.

I am completely satisfied with my visit to Dr Begum's practice. The front office staff were friendly and professional. Dr Begum went through my medical history in great details and made me feel confident that I had found a very knowledgable, and perhaps more importantly, a very caring cardiologist. She followed up with me to check on my condition. She did not hesitate to provide a consultation by phone on a weekend evening with an issue I was having. I would have no hesitation in referring Dr. Begum to my family & friends.

she goes above and beyond for her Patient she really cares and she takes the time out to listen to them she's an awesome doctor and the best cardiologist! I have ever met
