I had emergency surgery last year and was glad that Dr Fife was on my surgerical team. He gave me many options for pain control for my surgery. I was very happy with my outcome. He really to the time to find out the best plan for me. He made sure I was comfortable from start to finish.

I had surgery almost nine months ago at MCR and to this day, the worst moment was just before surgery when Dr. Fife introduced himself to me and told me that because I had been taking pain pills to try and dull the pain in the days before surgery, there basically wasn't much he could do for me during the actual surgery to relieve pain. He proceeded to tell me (minutes before surgery) that he could tell when patients were in pain during surgery as to how fast their eyelids fluttered.

Sedated me for a thumb surgery. I felt great afterward. Back to myself quickly. Also pretty hilarious and fun to talk to. Nice guy.
