Dr. Itkin is the Best Physician for Infectious Deceases. He is very through in his exams and treatment plans. He goes the extra mile to help his patients. He has kept me out of the hospital and living a relatively healthy life.

Dr. Itkin is a brilliant physician as evidenced by his treatment of my two very unusual knee infections, each of which occurred years after a knee replacement. His treatment plan always included multiple options in the event the chosen one caused problems which it occasionally did. His care was critical to my current very good recovery.

I learned that I had multiple staph infections after my coronary surgery. Dr. Itkin watched over me for nearly six months until the infections finally subsided. We are indebted to him and his friendly but professional attitude. Yes, we would definitely recommend him to others.

My PCP referred me to Dr. Itkin in autumn 1998. I am now in the middle of my twentieth year of his attentive, informed care. My quality of life, healthy yet with a chronic condition, is a testament to Dr. Itkin's time and talent. He listens and takes the time during every visit to HEAR how I am feeling and provides thoughtful Rx or suggestions for healthy options be they exercise, diet or other measures I can do to maintain and/or improve my health and to compliment his care.
