List of David M. Lorah's Reviews
This doctor is pushy. Obviously doesn’t even care if there is an issue . Will only go through the regular testing and tell you to come back if your still feeling bad but after doing this 4 times for the same issue without him even trying anything new I think it’s extremely negligent.
I think Dr. Lorah is great. He's very personable and I've had nothing but positive experiences with him.
Explain your illogic about not treating a blood thickness issue with therapeutic phlebotomy? Because every other Dr won’t leave it at labs and actually treat blood thickness directly alongside any appropriate long-term treatment. If my husband has another TIA due to YOUR negligence! I WILLL sue you personally. Not the hospital. YOU.
My husband saw this Dr. Lorah to continue treatments from out of State. Instead of analyzing these treatments and sticking with what has been proven to work for my husbands treatment. He referred to these treatments as illogical followed up with saying that he couldn’t see anything wrong with the treatment. Instead he was intimidated by my husband calling him and his inaccuracies out. NOPE. If you have very basic clinical needs maybe this guy is good. But if you have chronic health issues and just need a continuation of treatment he takes it as a blow to his Dr. ego. Super common in the medical community unfortunately. Meanwhile we spent 3 years in Houston finding treatment that worked. Let’s not do the logical thing and continue what works. Instead let’s feel insulted by other Dr’s work.
Husband’s blood thickness lab came in proving that his blood is too thick. He’s being transitioned from out of state where he regularly was treated with therapeutic phlebotomy. Instead of continuity of treatment the Dr refused to write an order for therapeutic phlebotomy DESPITE the labs showing that my husbands blood is too thick. Meanwhile my husband is left to SUFFER. The Dr. himself encouraged my husband to get therapeutic phlebotomy by donating blood instead. The nearest blood donation place I’ve found is almost 2 hrs away. So this Dr. obviously felt like his ego was insulted by my husband referring to his Houston Dr’s treatment. Heaven forbid that Dr. Lorah listen to his patient and look at complex health records accurately from Dr’s from Houston that have found treatments that work. If you couldn’t handle that from the get go, when we’ve spent years getting treatment that worked, you shouldn’t have gotten in over your family practice head.
If you have a complex medical issue and want comprehensive communication/dialogue this isn’t your guy. If you want someone babbling on about their own logic by explaining themselves with the word “logic” as a stand alone end all be all but not giving an explanation about said logical approach choose this guy. Otherwise PLEASE AVOID! Stressful, disappointing and lacks detailed and accurate information about medical history and knowledge.
Multiple un-returned calls and messages, doctor refuses to update case, idiot had the wrong date and won't even look at it....making him and his office the worst I've EVER dealt with.
Excellent service. The Doctor was very clear with explanation. I felt very comfortable and received a quick solution to my medical problem. I recommend highly.
Very professional. Very knowledgeable. Very patient with his patients. Explains everything carefully. Does a lot of follow up. One of the best doctors I've ever had.
Good consultion all questions and problems resulted in a professional way very satisfied with results of my consultation.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
