Dr. Lockey took care of my daughter who was a wrist pregnancy and delivered to my beautiful granddaughter and was a wonderful lady be around and she was very informative and took care of my daughter up and beyond all that was necessary she's very caring and loving

Don't bother calling. They don't pick up the phone. I had hoped with their high ratings and close proximity that I could make this my go-to OB. Since they don't care about new clients, or customer service, that will not be the case. If you love sitting and listening to the ring tone for 20 straight minutes, or simply have extra time on your hands to be waiting around, this is the OB-GYN for you! After almost half an hour, I hung up and called Lisa Savage, an OB-GYN over twice the distance from me. They picked up in three rings. Did they put me on hold for three minutes while they helped a customer? Yes. But at least I knew I was going to be taken care of and not sent to some automated customer service help center. When you work in health care, customer service is number one. This place clearly never got that message.

I cannot stress enough how refreshing it is to have a doctor who is as great a person in general as she is a doctor! Dr. Lockey did not know me from Adam and treated me like I was a part of her family. I had 7 pounds of fibroid tumors in my abdomen and needed to have them removed. I am sure it was a pretty serious situation, but Dr. Lockey handled me with enough care, sensitivity, and objectivity that I wasn't afraid when I left her office. Her staff was quick and efficient without making me feel like another claim number being rushed through the door. I was informed and respected while everyone still kept an inviting environment. Dr. Lockey performed the removal of my tumors. She had to make a vertical incision, and from what I heard, this would be a long time of healing, pain, and high rates of my abdomen opening again. Well that was a myth in Lockey Land! I was cut from my navel to my hooha and you could barely tell I was cut and had staples in the area. They put a suction gauze over the wound so my tummy wouldn't pull and cause pain, that is not a requirement but they wanted me to be as comfortable as possible. Dr. Lockey also took pictures for me and sent them to my cell phone. Yes, she was not afraid for me to have her freaking cell phone number! This is a woman who has faith in mankind and it is refreshing! She met with all my teammates, friends, and family and took the time to greet them all personally and hug them. They all ended up asking me for her information to be their new OBGYN. I was only in recovery for 45min when it is estimated at over 2 hours. I was walking the next morning and not using any pain meds. I could not believe it! I was active for a person who just had surgery and never had any bleeding or leakage. I never had any setbacks and I am a little over 6 weeks in and back on the football field! Dr. Lockey rocks and you would only be so lucky to know her in your lifetime as your doctor or friend.

Ladies, I am serious; I have never been comfortable in a Doctors office, much less at a gyny appointment. Dr. Renne is the exception. Clean, professional, kind, reassuring. Coming from a history of bad gynys, I truly appreciate the work she does.

Dr. Lockey is great! I moved to Austin about 8 years ago and have been treated very well each year for my annual check-up. Her bedside manner is awesome, not too much small talk and very thorough. She is very good at what she does without the awkwardness.

I have seen Dr Lockey about a handful of times and absolutely love her. She makes you feel very comfortable and able to talk about anything. I have recommended her to a friend who is expecting. She loves her and recommended her to another friend.

I've been going to doc. Lockey for about 5 years. I recently changed my ob, because of the lack of care from the office. I changed my insurance provider and had to deal with their on the phone support, a few times. Normally thats not a big deal for me I'm in customer service and typically don't have a problem handling issues over the phone. This time was different. After making the appointment and telling her I would have to get back to them with my insurance providers information; the women on the phone quickly rushed off the phone and failed to tell me the exact time the appointment was made for or if I would get a reminder call the day before (which they don't). When I called back to give the information the person on the phone couldn't provide me with much information about their billing process. You're a doc. office so I would think that would be a typical question or would have someone to hand me off to. instead she asked questions such as my age, which was right in front of her and inappropriate to ask to start with. After going through the roundabout calls I didnt get my question answered and instead looked into other health providers and found one with great customer support who acted like they were excited to be there and have me as a customer. I enjoy Lockey's ability to make an uncomfortable appointment friendly and inviting. I think she's a great at what she does but I want an all around friendly service. Health care is a profession where customer service matters and while Lockey provides that welcoming care the office fails to provide the same standard.

She is the best doctor. She is so professional and really cares about all her patients at the same time. I had just moved here and didn't know who to go to and so I called the labor and delivery floor at St. David South to ask who was the best doctor. I called 2 different times and both times the said they loved Dr. Lockey. She really was the best and always made me feel very taken care of. She was so great during all my appointments and when we delivered my son. I would also trust her 100% during any emergency procedures and know that she is always very educated and knows what she is doing. I feel like I just can't stop saying nice things about what a great doctor and person she is!

Dr. Lockey is my OB (first time pregnancy, late in life, no intervention) and, honestly, I couldn't have created a better doc. She listens, she's to-the-point but still friendly, doesn't believe in making you over anxious (so important!) and is hugely supportive. More importantly (to me), she stays up on current research and information, so isn't surprised when you ask about something that just made the news. The office is efficient and warm, and, if you happen to end up needing to see a different doc due to scheduling issues, they're all groovy, too. Highly recommended - after I'd already seen Dr. Lockey once, I found out that several of the other women I know have her for both OB & GYN reasons and couldn't be happier with their luck in having such a great doc on their side.
