List of E. Taylor Abel's Reviews
Panorama has been one of the worst experiences of my life. Came in for extreme nerve pain down my left leg and a stiff back. After two long months of calling back repeatedly after my visit, the team finally scheduled an MRI… to look for a torn hamstring. I mentioned that this seemed to be more back related however, they said they had to do an MRI of the leg first because they had already submitted that to insurance. A month later we finally get the MRI of the lower back scheduled which proved that multiple discs were bulging including a significantly herniated L5/S1 which was pushing on the sciatic nerve causing spasms and immense pain down the left leg. Dr Abel recommended getting two Cortizone shots in the lower back around the area to deal with pain. I denied the shots because of an extremely bad experience in my family no more than 2 years ago. My sister had received the same shots which nicked a nerve in her back which was unrepairable causing a severe burning pain for more tha
Dr Taylor explained procedure well and answered questions.
I have had back issues for 15 years and have had surgery. In the past three years I have had evaluations done by my previous surgeon and an Interventional Radiologist that my husband saw. Neither of them did any kind of physical exam. They seemed in a hurry and took inaccurate notes. Their conclusion was that I should have surgery again. Dr. Abel actually did a physical exam to see where my pain was, he listened to what I was saying, and he came up with a treatment plan that is conservative. The only “con” was I waited over an hour for my consultation and no one came to tell me he was running late, or an estimate as to when he’d be in to see me.
He is very nice and knowledgeable!
Great explanation of my condition. Dr. Abel listened to my questions and took the time to answer them. I never felt like he was rushing. Very knowledgeable and personable.
My visit was good the staff got me in right away I do care about your appointment and who you need to see
Dr. Abel is thorough, compassionate, listens and answers questions. My experience with Dr Abel gives him a high rating and I would recommend him and Panorama as the place to go. Staff is great - very helpful and friendly!
Dr Able is a through evaluator, and very clear about the options. He is kind and personable, the best thing, he administered a cortisone shot in my elbow joint without pain. I am very grateful for his effective treatment.
Second visit. He is superb in care and support. I trust his advice.
High marks. Dr. Abel was thorough, professional, and not anxious to do any unnecessary testing or procedures. His approach to treat my back issues took into consideration long-term goals and results, as opposed to the quick fix I was originally hoping for. He's not opposed to more drastic measures, but only after less invasive methods fail to make a difference. Refreshing!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
