MIchael Ellman's Online Review Report Card

I had a previous labral recon and femoroplasty at Western Orthopedics, it did not go well, Dr. Brian White said, "I will have no pain". However, 10 months later I am still experiencing pain. I came across Panorama, Dr. Ellman. The experience with Dr. Ellman and his team was night and day difference. Communication alone was excellent with the team. The second surgery (opposite side of the hip) was a labral repair and femoroplasty, no recon needed. Two months after Dr. Ellman's surgery and no pain. That says something. In addition, the surgery facilities, were also night and day. Panorama's surgery centers are much cleaner. I have one regret and that is, I should have done my first hip surgery with Dr. Ellman and his team.

Dr. Ellman and his team are amazing. From my first visit to post surgery I have felt well taken care of. All options and outcomes of hip arthroscopy were discussed with me nothing about the process was unknown, I felt involved in my health. Highly recommend Dr. Ellman.

Dr Ellman and his team took time to comprehensively evaluate my symptoms resulting in a successful diagnosis then provided treatment options allowing me to move forward with a plan. His team was welcoming, thorough, and efficient. Dr Ellman was approachable and knowledgeable.

My injury resulted in the need to reattach the three tendons of my hamstring back onto the hip bone. Dr Ellman, and the entire surgical crew made me feel safe and comfortable. Dr Ellman explained everything in detail about the surgical procedure to me, which for me alleviated a lot of fear and worry. Everyone at Panorama and South Denver Surgical Center have been very supportive and compassionate. I can’t speak highly enough about the care I’ve received so far. I’m very grateful to have Dr Ellman and crew helping me through the injury and surgery.

Had a bone impingement and labrum tear that Dr. Ellman fixed. He and his staff were AMAZING. Always gave things to me straight but was relentlessly positive about getting me right. Highly recommend!

I saw Michael Ellman for my hip, I have to admit I was worried when I saw how young he looked lol. I thought if the older hip dr at Cornerstone couldn't figure it out, no way is the young dr. I was wrong, he came in prepared. Looked at the MRI, and had a plan. I'm relieved to know I'm not insane, there is a problem, and his plan is solid. Nothing experimental, I can't wait for my shot on Friday.

I have EDS, and all of the other comorbidities. Dr. Ellman and Hugate are always very aware of proper treatments. Ellman is very funny and personable as well. I got a PAO and labral arthroscopy on my left hip in June. I do have an appointment to do my right hip as well. I was afraid to do the other side like many others are; however, due to the care provided by Ellman and Hugate, I trust them. My life is improving everyday thanks to them.

Dr. Ellman was the FIRST doctor to provide me some in-depth and insightful information after seeing multiple other sources for years of hip pain. He was very straightforward and had great humor. I also appreciated his analogies as it was much easier to relate the complex medical terminology to what I could really resonate with and understand. Highly recommend Dr. Ellman!

He is professional and takes the time to listen. I trust him and recommend him.

Dr. Ellman listens first, then asks questions. He looks you right in the eye when he speaks, offers options and you leave with a clear plan of action. One of the best physicians I’ve ever seen.
