I feel my time is valuable as I keep busy with many commitments. My first appointment with Dr Johnson was 1 hour and 15 minutes late. He was pleasant enough but no apologies were offered. Dr Patel was about 30 minutes late, once again pleasant but no apologies. I was told they both run behind, I made sure my appointment with Dr Patel was the first of the day for that reason. I don’t understand how there is so little concern for the patients time. I am grateful to Dr Johnson for ordering a MRI to get the problem. UC Health didn’t help.

Dr. Patel did my knee replacement surgery 6 months with no complications. Every aspect was well done. I have had 2 checkups since. He also replaced both of my wife's knees over 10 years ago. Well done!

Dr. Patel gave me a new knee and my life back!He also put my daughter back together again after a freak rock climbing accident. When I saw her I thought she’ll never walk again but she danced at her wedding in August! He’s not only patient and understanding but he’s also a trauma surgeon. It doesn’t get much better than that!He sets the benchmark for other surgeons and genuinely cares about his patients. If you are thinking of getting a joint replacement, this is the one doctor you must see. Thank you Dr. Patel!!!

I can’t say enough positive comments about Dr. Patel. I was unable to walk after 4 months of having my broken hip pinned. He realigned it and gave me a total hip replacement. I am able to resume my active normal activities because of his surgery.

I was pleased that Dr Patel listened and didn’t just jump to surgery. Negatives were the 1+ hour wait and no one has called in my prescription going on 5 days now We physically walked downstairs in order to set up PT appt. My husband has been waiting 3 weeks for PT to call and schedule his.

Dr. Patel performed my second surgery 2 days after the first one. The infection had not reached the left elbow joint but was overwhelming the bursa, so it took two surgeries two days apart to make sure they got it all. All the procudures were explained and the only discomfort I had was from the long, deep surgical wound and IV tubes restricting movement. All nurses and assistants were professional and warm, making a difficult time easier to deal with. I'm looking forward to a complete recovery without restrictions. I give Dr Patel, Dr.Grossman, and nursing staff a 5 star rating.

I was impressed with Dr. Patel and his staff. His assistant did say she would call in the next couple of days so that I could schedule my knee replacement surgery in January, but I have not not heard from her. I am anxious to schedule my surgery as soon as possible in early January!
