My husband had a work opportunity in Colorado and we ended up in Golden for a year. What a beautiful and charming town! We were staying close to downtown so we were spending a lot of time in that area. I noticed The Medicine Tree sign and looked up their information. I have been having a lot of chronic/autoimmune health issues for several years but have never tried acupuncture. I decided to give it a try since I was tired of every medical doctor I saw prescribing just another drug and never getting to the root issues. I am so thankful I did because Liz is amazing! She went over everything with me, ordered some tests and came up with a plan. I started treatment at the end of February and I only have one complaint.... I should have gone so much sooner! I went in for weekly appointments through July and the results were incredible. I had so much more energy, less pain and gut issues and looked forward to every appointment. I am now on a much better course with my health. We have now left the area and to say I am going to miss Liz, Rachel, Laura and everyone else there is an understatement. The office has such a good vibe/feel and any stress I felt when walking through the door quickly left. I am now a huge believer in acupuncture and will forever be grateful that I found The Medicine Tree. I miss you all but just know that I will be back!

I've been seeing Liz weekly for the past 6 months and I still look forward to going every time. She is thoughtful, caring, passionate, and is one of the first practitioners I've ever had who I felt was truly listening to me and my concerns and actually understood. I cant say enough good things about Dr. Roper and her entire staff. Following a collapse last year I spent almost a week in the hospital and was discharged unable to walk on my own. I found Liz when I was looking for an acupuncturist to help me with my reoccurring migraines but what I got with her treatments was so much more. She knew right away that my migraines were connected to my cycle and began helping me to manage my stress and balance my hormones.
