Dr. Christine Welsh is an amazing doctor! I just moved to Grand Junction and was very nervous about finding a great PCP like my previous one. I met her two weeks ago to get a referral for allergy testing. I joking told her I’m never sick so I probably won’t see her often. Never say never! This past weekend, I hurt my lower back very badly digging a large hole to plant a tree. The pain was radiating throughout and continued in the groin area yet I couldn’t figure out what was hurting exactly. She listened patiently when I described it and knew immediately what I had done! I had really trashed the Piriformis muscle. She gave me a fact sheet describing it with a picture and it matched exactly the spots that are screaming out in pain. Wow! I Never even heard of that muscle. It truly amazed me. We’re still working on repairing the damage but I was very thankful that it could be labeled. What a relief! She is REALLY, REALLY good at what she does. I was very impressed and relieved. I’m 63 years old and like many Americans, trying to make it to 65 yrs. old to retire for Medicare. I really need my health insurance and I was a real wreck worried I’d have to quit my job. I need my legs to work. She was very understanding and consoling. She reassured me I could repair the damage. Several things she said to me really made me believe she truly listened and understood my fear. I’ve never had a doctor like her who “really got me” and helped reduce my fear immensely. Dr. Welch is a truly gifted doctor and I want her to know how much I appreciate her. THANKS!

An amazing doctor! This lady cares about her patients and it shows. She's extremely knowledgeable and therefore can help much more. I would recommend Dr. Welsh to those needing an all around great physician.

Dr. Welsh was dead set on believing that I was maligning and refused to take me seriously. She abandoned me in the exam room while I was crying after she rolled her eyes at me and dismissed my incredibly worrying symptoms. After seeing specialists in LA, in turned out I had the exact genetic condition and related autonomic disorder I suspected I did after doing my own research. Her advice would have made me worse.

Dr. Welsh genuinely genuinely cares for her patients and has gone the extra mile for myself and my sister. She took excellent care of me and my baby and came to see us every day in the hosptial, even on Sunday. She performs manipulations and seems to be skilled at that as well. I would highly recommend her and if I was staying in the area, would never see anyone else!
