Mary Austin Blattner's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Mary is the best. She listens, she follows up, and she truly cares about her patients well being. I have been to see her 8-10 times for the treatment of two different conditions.

I waited MONTHS to see this dermatologist for an issue that UC Health has failed to treat for OVER A YEAR. On the DAY OF the scheduled appointment they are cancelling because this "dermatologist" somehow suddenly doesn't treat skin issues?! They say I'm supposed to reschedule, but even when I select the OTHER dermatologist, I only get the option to schedule with Blattner, and they are all three months out. I can't even take a screenshot to get support because they illegally prevent you from taking a screenshot WITH YOUR OWN PHONE! I have experienced nothing but incompetence and gross negligence and disregard from UC Health and most of their providers.

My child has a rash spreading across his body and Dr. Blattner’s soonest time to get him in is almost 3 months! Absolutely ridiculous! And he’s not even a new patient! Not only is her turn time insane but she doesn’t allow her patients to see another Dr. in her office.

My wife, Pam, is EXTREMELY jittery around doctors. From the moment Dr. Blattner walked in she exuded kindness, compassion, confidence and caring RARELY found in doctors and especially specialists. She performed the procedure quickly and professionally. The tissue removed had to be biopsied and when the results were available she personally called to discuss the results and answer any questions. Her staff, Kim and Belinda were great in assisting and scheduling follow-up. Nice to know that there are still medical professionals who show the same care what we used to expect in the “old days”.

Dr Blattner is the kindest, most caring and patient doctor I have ever used. I had a small tumor removed, which she did quickly and professionally while insuring I was comfortable and in no pain. When the biopsy results were available she called personally to explain the results and answer any questions. Her staff was great in assisting with medical and scheduling.

I can honestly say Dr. Blattner is the best dermatologist I have ever seen. She was right on top of the problem, addressed my skin cancer and took care of it in a way that made me feel at ease. Dr. Blattner has a wonderful disposition. She knew exactly what was wrong by doing an exam that was easy for my to handle, (I usually have massive anxiety attacks when I meet a doctor for the first time, but not this time). I Highly recommend Dr. Blattner. Her many years as a doctor have made her a compassionate professional. Not only that, I love talking to her, she has had a fascinating life.

I would give dr Mary blattner 5 stars, she is an amazing doctor and she is always so nice and Freindly. She has worked wonders for me BUT.. she needs to get a new staff. They are always so RUDE.in person and in the phone, I don’t think I have been treated with such disgust. It is not just me that knows this either. Very disappointed in the staff.

Most of the time we don't look forward to going to the Dr. This is not true with Dr. Mary. She is so good at putting me at ease and she loves just visiting and joking with me. I also love the way she treats her staff as if they are family. She is very caring and compassionate besides being a great Dr. that does not do procedures unless they are needed to be done.

Dr. Blattner is a living doll !!! I'd give her 10 stars if I could !!! She took time to explain things to me before and after the procedure (which was NOT painful). I highly recommend her !!!
