List of MIle High Surgicenter's Reviews
Last week I had surgery to remove a ganglion cyst on my wrist. From Cindy my checkin nurse to Chris my anesthesiologist, I couldn’t have wished for a better experience. Everyone I encountered was a pleasure, truly. Thank you Mike High Surgi Center!
As a Physician Assistant, I highly love and adore the staff here. The professionalism and care exhibited by all levels of staff was wonderful. They made it so easy to prep and recover and start my journey for a better me! Love you guys!
Awesome. Knee is so much better!
Staff were kind, efficient and there was a Happy Team vibe. Better than the hospital! Bring your own food... they have cracker snacks and basic juice.
I found the professional staff put forth a sincere and meaningful effort to make your visit a positive. Follow up phone calls from the surgeon and nurses that go the extra mile for the patient's care. Thank you for caring and being on the front line during these challenging times.
Seriously, the best experience I've ever had in a medical facility. The staff is A-1, top tier! They all made me feel very comfortable and welcome. They listened to me, and did everything they could to make sure that I had a good experience. They even played some Megadeth upon my request. If I ever need surgery again, I will definitely request Mile High.
My husband had surgery here today and our experience was awful. The DON Jessica asked me to leave the waiting room due to have two children with me and because of this I missed the surgeon’s phone call due to having no cell service in the lobby. Jessica also said the surgery was going to be another three hours and for us to go home when not even an hour later the surgeon was trying to get ahold of me. Thanks for the rudeness Jessica, now we know to not recommend this location of procedures. It is also concerning the the anesthesiologist gave contradicting information regarding pain medication and recovery than the surgeon and PA. I know the information the anesthesiologist gave is correct because I myself just had surgery and was given similar instructions.
When we asked if there was a limit on people in the waiting room we were told no as long as vaccinated. The man checking vaccination cards at the door was bothered that there was more than one person and told us he was going to ask us to leave if more families came in. No new families came in but he proceeded to have the DON Jessica ask us to ALL leave. Very unprofessional. Do not tell people one thing then say another. Jessica proceeded to give misinformation on the surgery after the doctor and PA had spoken to us about the duration of the surgery. The doctor and PA also aren’t on the same page either so who knows about this place. Apparently if you are getting a rotator cuff and bicep surgery you don’t need pain medication. Overall experience 0/10
Had to have surgery for on-the-job injury. Was originally scheduled for 3/2021 but had to reschedule for later date. Medical staff were communicating often and constantly checking on my health status prior to surgery. The night before the procedure was scheduled, the anesthesiologist called and gave me further instructions. Day of, nurse took my temperature, changed mask, checked in, was admitted, changed out of clothes, met with nurse, anesthesiologist, and doctor. Procedure went as scheduled. Discharged and sent home to recover. No complaints. Thank you all.
This surgery center does not test its own staff for Covid, if someone has symptoms they simply get sent home. I refused to take a Covid test simply because THEY are choosing to risk my health by not testing their own staff. How is that protecting the patient? They canceled my surgery because I refused. Your damn right I refused when they don't test themselves. Do not use this surgery center!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
