List of Seth A. Kareus's Reviews
Promptness of appointment, Educated Doctor and staff, Staff very friendly, Everyone answers questions thoroughly. Accurate Diagnosis and treatment. Could not ask for more.
Dr.Kareus took time and research to get me a correct diagnosis back in 2017. I have a rare disease autoimmune Limbic Encephatiltis, and without his expertise, I most likely would've been misdiagnosed and sent to a psych ward. As far as I'm concerned he saved my life. I still have memory and other issues, but I can function. He is caring, concerned, and dedicated to his work.
I had been referred for unexplained pain or maybe Wilson's disease. The physician told me in an unpleasant way that this was not possible. I cannot see a use for him unless maybe for an obvious disease that requires no thought on his part. The reason is, though I had never seen a neurologist before for some severe pain and other undiagnosed problems, he said: "If you've seen all these other doctors in the past and they don't know what is wrong with you, I'm sure we won't be able to figure anything out" . In other words, he cannot dx a patient with something not obvious, or so he says in his own words. Also, even after telling me my mri was clean of my head, he wanted me to come in and discuss it. Meaning, he wanted another $400 to say, "your mri is clean".
Has never given me a physical to see how my disease is progressing. Just tells me to get an MRI and charges me $400.00 twice a year. Doesn't offer any advice or treatment for my symptoms. I am just a number to make $.
Dr was approachable and clear and spent the time we needed. He did not push medication at this time. The visit was very reassuring.
I was very happy with Dr. Kareus. I had some bothersome issues with my right arm and was concerned about the cause. He put my mind to rest in a short time and I left feeling much better.
Very kind and spent a lot of time with me discussing a difficult diagnosis.
Great! Dr. Kareus listens well and asks questions until he knows my concerns. He doesn't force decisions but clearly lets me know what he thinks. He doesn't waste time, but doesnn't rush me.
I have RA and was taking Enbrel for over a year. I moved from CA and didn't have my insurance yet in order to get refills for my Enbrel. I went 3 weeks without shots. This caused me to have severe tremors but D. Kareus in his infinite wisdom said I had PTSD. So now this is following me. I finally got an RA doctor that decided to change my medicine to Actemra. But I had to miss two shots before I could take the new shot. Well, one week and 3 days into missing the Enbrel I had horrible seizers this time and can still hear my screaming until this day. The problem was at ST. Mary's the doctors ignored me and why because I was just a dummy with PTSD anyway. They didn't even care about the 240 blood pressure. You are so arrogant that you could care less about people or you don't like old people. You didn't want to be bothered that day for whatever reason and I truly would appreciate that you put the real reason I was having tremors. Dr. Newton at Mind Springs is the one would said I don't have PTSD. I knew I didn't but you wanted to be right so badly that you had me half-way convinced I did. I should have followed my own gut instinct. Wish I had never met you.
This doctor is great for a consult, and may have other, better honed skillsets and areas of proficiency, but he has treated my husband entirely too conservatively, and hasn’t shown us much of his knowledge and abilities.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
