Alejandro Marmol's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Marmol-Velez truly listened to me, asked me questions, and, most importantly, clearly offered detailed information in understandable terms without "talking down" to me. My view is generally, the more information, the better. I trust him.

Dr. Marmol thoroughly reviewed my medical records from my previous provider and developed a plan that met my personal concerns and his clinical judgment. I’m very pleased with him and the entire staff.

Dr. Marmol listens carefully to your issues and documents everything. He has referred me to a pulmonary doctor to further document my situation. The PA that works with Dr. Marmol is also a very good listener, and they work very effectively together. As a team I feel that I am getting top notch medical care. My wife also sees Dr, Marmol and feels the same way about his care.

This Doctor might of had a good practice? But who would know? They have the worst scheduling department In the entire universe. I waited a good solid 30 minutes in total every time I called. And that was just a clear of insurance issues. Which they just bill you anyway even if you come in or not as what they said. Rather draconian.What’s so ridiculous is they are a cardiology unit!!!!I guess by the time they answer their phone probably should call 911 because by the time they get the phone you’ll have a real emergency.

Moved my cardiology care to Dr. Marmol after bad experiences with two other doctors. What a positive change Dr. Marmol was! He and the nurses are very professional, very caring. They respect your situation, your time, and work with you as a partner. Very refreshing!

I came to Dr. Marmol because I have was having bad pain in my heart, high resting heart rate, breathlessness and could no longer tolerate activity. He looked at an ER CT scan that lead me down a path that helped me get diagnosed with Sarcoidosis. I am extremely thankful for that. But after looking at my tests he insisted that my heart had no issues and told me to go back to primary for pain management. I left in tears as my symptoms remained and he was unwilling to help me find an answer. I went to National Jewish where they ran more tests and determined the Sarcoidosis was in my heart. This can be deadly. Also I was having vasospasms in my heart. I understand Sarcoidosis is rare and it isn’t his specialty, but he had no interest to help me get to the bottom of my problem and didn’t believe my heart symptoms.

Dr. Marmol was very thorough, patient, took his time with me and really listened to my issues. He was very reassuring, knowledgeable, compassionate and I was comfortable with all his suggestions for my care going forward. I appreciate the time he took with me.

Dr. Marmol has been absolutely wonderful at helping me figure out why I'm having certain cardiac responses post-COVID. He's extremely thorough and has a wonderful bedside manner. Would absolutely recommend him to anyone in need of an exceptional cardiologist.
