Went here for diagnostic breast imaging. Very kind and professional X-ray tech and I can't say enough good things about the radiologist who came in and spoke to me personally.

Super impressed with an experience in the ER this evening. The wait was under 5 minutes to get seen. Both nurses were very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Lab tests from blood draw took barely an hour. Results popped up on my phone app and before I could finish reading them the ER doc arrived to explain the results and recommend next steps. I arrived at 6:15 and was out the door in under 2 hours.

Blew up my vein when attempting CT contrast. Then wanted another go with another vein...umm, no. And echeck in doesn't check you in. Apparently you need to echeck in, then go to another floor and check in, so I waited an hour and 45 minutes to have them blow up my vein. Also, they asked if I had any questions, and while I was asking what areas the scan would cover, the two women ignored me and literally talked over me to each other. Don't think the experience could be worse. She kept asking if I wanted to reschedule. I just wanted out of there.

We all realize medical staff since Covid has been challenging. My husband has been here a few times and the concerns we have as a family is the overall daily care. Requests for a sponge bath of shower is not given. ICU was amazing 9 days in other room no responses.

I went to the ER and was misdiagnosed 2 times. Once they tried to say I was taking to much cannabis. They gave me nasea medicine even after I told them that was not the problem. I was then diagnosed at Porter correctly and ended up having an ulcer.

I had previously gone to this ER and was charged $282 for an emergency room. The second time I went to the ER for a health scare and was in the facility for about an hour total. With no labs or any procedures performed I was charged $2008 for emergency room facilities. After discussing with a representative it sounds like this will be my final amount even when I discussed concern on my ability to pay.

While no one likes to end up in the hospital, sometimes it is necessary and has to be done. I had a great experience tonight on 3/30 in the emergency department. Everyone from the security guards, to the admissions staff, to the nurses, radiology techs, and doctors I was treated with such great kindness by everyone and I felt like I was truly listened to. My nurse was making me laugh and trying to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. The facility is also very clean! They got me back into a room fairly quickly, and did their best to run labs and scans as fast as they could. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience and the care that I received and would chose to come to this hospital again if a visit is warranted. Experiencing really unethical stuff happening with the hospital and their social workers. My mom was admitted to the ER and nearly 10 hours after, with her blood pressure still dropping, an orthopedic surgeon shoves consent papers in my face saying she needs surgery now. Fortunately the Dr. on call had better sense and said no. They prematurely evaluated my mom for rehab three or four short days into her stay, saying she didn't qualify, even though the average hospital stay for her condition is nearly two weeks, and she's been improving every day. Then, came the hospice hard sell (although remember she was just well enough the first day to endure an intense surgery?) It felt like being hammered in car dealership sales office, with three different people coming at me at various stages trying to close the deal (even though I clearly said no the first time). The last social worker tried bullying and scare tactics saying my mom is "rapidly declining," although the Dr. had just told me he had no concerns, and "we're no medical doctors but your mom will never recover!" I recorded this conversation. Then, the social worker spread the unrecoverable story to the rehab I was considering so they denied her admission. This is starting to feel like a job for the inspector general's office as these hospital practices are now severely hurting my mom's chances for a successful and healthy recovery.
