List of Oakwood Dental's Reviews
Great dentists and hygienists.
Fantastic service all around!
I've been going here for the past several years and they are just SO nice! ALL of them! It's a great environment to be in and you can tell everyone loves their job! Always appreciate the care you have given to me and my teeth over the years!
Very nice office. Friendly and efficient.
Office is very clean, everyone is so friendly. They listen to what your concerns are, just a wonderful office.
Oakwood Dental has always been a positive experience! Friendly, honest and gentle. I would recommend to anyone and even those who are nervous about dentists!
I'm not perfect when it comes to my oral hygiene, I'll be the first to admit that. My first visit to Oakwood Dental was refreshing because they reinforce what I was doing right and didn't tell me all the things I was doing wrong with my teeth. It felt like they were encouraging me to do better without putting me down. I actually felt good rather than discouraged about scheduling an appointment to get some corrective work done.
I would not recommend this clinic. I felt like services/procedures I did not need were pushed on me every visit I had. For example, when I first became a patient I was told by Dr. Kertis I needed a bite guard when I didn’t report symptoms of grinding or showed needs of a bite guard on my teeth (per report of previous dentist and new current dentist). Bite guards aren’t cheap and I had to get this thing remade twice because they messed up on the first one adding inconvenience. Additionally, the information on my chart was incorrect saying I had cavities on my front teeth for over two years so when I scheduled my cleaning appointment I was shamed over the phone for not getting cavities taken care of, when really I didn’t have any!! Lastly, Dr. Kertis has demonstrated unprofessional behaviors in his attempt at trying to relate to me as a patient by talking about underage drinking at La Crosse bars when I was a freshman in college (on multiple occasions and without me bringing up the topic). When he kept asking me what bars are in La Crosse still, and I said I don’t know, his exact words were “geez what do you even do for fun”. This made me very uncomfortable, which ultimately made me switch to Dr. Clare. After further experiences of feeling like I was being pushed services/products, I switched dentists and I have completely different experiences and have been told I do not need further teeth whitener, fillings, or a bite guard. I am glad I switched and got second opinions on my teeth before spending more money.
Professional listen to patients friendly
DR. KERTIS, what a dentist, he took the scared 😨 out of me and put trust with his experience and soft spoken voice. This team what a great bunch of girls 👧 that work with him. When I'm there it's all about taking care of PAT. I give them a strong 5 if not a 10. I do tell my friends about the Oakwood Dental.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
