List of La Junta Clinic Valley-Wide Health Systems's Reviews
I'd maybe put a four if they kept a doctor longer than 3 months, reception is rude and bitter. Most doctors bedside manner is that of a corrections officer Though they have amazing case manager, MAT help and a couple great therapists.
The people who work at ValleyWide are awesome. It seems the staff isn't allowed the time to get anything done in a timely manner because of how the organization is ran from the top. They are forced to take shortcuts and not able to give the patients everything they need because there are so many rules and red tape for them to cross. Even now the facility is closed the first Wednesday of every month until 1pm for meetings. The patients are not the first priority here unfortunately. There have been some really good medical professionals at valleywide, but they do not last long. The employee turn around is super high. I've had to choose another health provider after years of being a patient of valleywide. I'm so glad I switched providers. I'm finally getting the quality care I needed, somewhere else.
Have walked out twice after waiting for more than hour for provider. Getting pain meds is a nightmare. Nobody can give you a straight answer, they just pass you off to another person. Once I heard VWHS took over in Ordway, I knew it was going to crap. It did.
What is the purpose of valley wide SUPPOSEDLY having an urgent care type clinic when they don't make ANY effort to get a person in to be seen in a timely manner? I waited & WAITED to be checked in. Only 1 person at the window but about 4 women standing around in the receptionist area, laughing, talking- they made absolutely NO EFFORT to help anyone else check in. When I FINALLY got to the front of the line I was told it wouldl be 45 minutes just to "check in". Who knows HOW LONG if would be actually SEEN by a provider. Waiting area was EMPTY so it obviously wasn't THAT busy...unless the reast of the crew had things to talk & laugh about like the women at the desk. I agree w/ ALL the other comments that THIS PLACE IS A JOKE! The staff's priorities are NOT patient care!!!
The team here always worked well for me. No drama and handled my appointments quickly and appropriately.
Do not come here I’ve been seen here and I was not informed of a bacterial infection I had until I had to go to the walk in clinic because I was feeling horrible I have also been trying to get a hold of Dr. Tallent now for more than a week and she does not call back
The issue that I have with Valleywide is that you cannot get scripts! The doctor orders meds and then the ball is dropped with getting the script to the pharmacy. It takes sometimes a week or 2 to get what you need. Numerous phone calls and you might get the needed medicine or you may still be waiting. The absolute worst in customer service. If the medication is critical you are basically out of luck. Ridiculous
The worst place ever. If you can go to another place. It has gotten so bad after the merger.
I'm very thankful for VW....caring and knowledgeable staff
I was first in line on hold for a representative. Nobody even answered the phone, and I hit the “urgent” botton!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
