I don't know what to think about this place. First, I have NEVER in my life had to APPLY to be a ACCEPTED to be a patient somewhere. In 60 plus years, a doctor was either accepting new patients or not. So I had to fill out some form and turn it in and wait to see if I am "accepted" as a patient. I have no idea what qualifications they are looking for. Are they looking to see if my credit is good, or if my race is suitable for them, or if I belong to the right country club? I have never heard of such a thing before. I just called them back and I am pretty sure I filled out a form and turned it back in personally in or around the first week of July 2022. I just called them today, 08/08/2022, and their answer is they have not heard back anything yet about whether or not I am "accepted". They should at least publish what criteria they are basing "acceptance" on as this is quite disturbing to me. I will look elsewhere for medical care.
Dr. Book and his staff are very compassionate and professional. I feel comfortable during appointments and my health issues are addressed in a timely manner. I feel that the wait time is reasonable and the staff are very friendly. I also appreciate that Dr. Book and his staff do things to help the local community. I would highly recommend his office!
Frivolous billing and inflexible office staff. Charges will be inconsistent and unjustified. They have no respect or consideration of long standing patients who pay their bills. Was charged a different "Level" for a routine visit. Office could not adequately delineate "Why" the level change

Dr. Books office and Ann Dagget, will bill their fees inconsistantly, with no justification for higher rates. They will refuse to provide sufficiant reasons for their higher billing rates, and have no regard for long standing customers. They are a pillar of what is wrong with the medical community at large, and with their own ability to hide behind "judgment" billing. They lost a long time patient over frivolous billing.
Very friendly and great staff. The staff genuinely care about you and your family. They try to their best ability to figure the problem out instead of just prescribing medication in hopes that it goes away. Best Dr office I could have picked for my family.
I found Dr. Book very approachable. Very open to explaining treatments. Nurses are caring. Very pleased with his services.
Excellent physician, very caring!!
A doc should never just assume a diagnosis on a persons age. Not willing to listen to family members concerns without getting very defensive. Now his patient is in serious trouble with colon cancer.
He demonstrated poor communication skills, lack of caring and was defensive when asked about treatment options. He did not follow up on problems and did not remember what tests he ordered or the results.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
