FirstLight is a great place to work at. Just like any other work place, if you do a good job, they will recognize and value you. I have been with the company for a long time and there is a reason why I stick around when I can simply find employment somewhere else. There is definitely room for improvement but it’s a challenge we face everyday. COVID sucks and it makes things more challenging but what is life without hurdles.

at a time when the pool of potential care givers was shrinking and when my wife's special needs made hiring even more challenging (ALS), Jenna and Christina never slackened in their efforts to fulfill our needs and to train their people.

It is important to have Home Care workers who are prompt, patient and willing to help when needed. First Lite Home Care does all that and more. I am able to get shopping done and errands run while my husband is well cared for. I am truly grateful for all their help.

I like the girls in the office & I think that is important. They are helpful with scheduling & communication is good. They are always thankful for the caregivers work. I am thankful to work there & also for all the hard work the office women do for us.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!! Rude and unprofessional. Horrible experience just trying to set up a ride for a medical procedure. I spoke with Christina the 1st time I called, she took all my info, except forgot to get my email to send my contract. Called back a few days later and spoke with Jenna, Executive Director. When I told her I was calling to provide my email, she said "I don't have your info, I've never talked to you before". I was immediately taken back my her less than kind response. I told her I spoke with someone at her office, and had provided my credit card number, etc. She went on with a list of excuses for not having my paperwork (clearly disorganized, I'll get back to that...). I asked what that had to do with me requesting their service. And her response was "You are welcome to call another service, in fact, why don't you do that" and hung up on me. I called back and asked "Jenna, did you hang up on me?" She said "Yes, I'm sick of people like you who think what they have going on is more important than anyone else." WOW, really!?This woman does not belong in any aspect of health care. Seems she would be more suited to something like a collection agent, you know, someone you would expect to be cold, heartless and rude. Please do not waste your time or money here, and for God's sake certainly do not trust them to care for your elderly loved ones. Being as they were mean af to a 45yo woman, I can't imagine how abusive they are to their elderly clients.I went to the office the next morning to physically collect my information, as I did not trust their practices. The place was filthy and disorganized, both women looked like they needed a shower. Just plain gross.

Working for FirstLight HomeCare has been a great joy in my life!I love the relationships I have cultivated throughout the years with my clients. I have learned so much from them and I sincerely love what I do, which makes going to work something I look forward to!I have also worked in the office doing scheduling and know firsthand how incredibly warm and caring the management and office staff are. I especially appreciate the executive director, Jenna Fieser and the owner Brian Wilson, for going above and beyond with this organization and truly putting their whole hearts into what they do. I couldn't be happier that I ended up here. I highly recommend working for FirstLight!

This is a new experience for me and I appreciate the services that allow me to rest and relieve a little stress.

Firstlight has been indispensable in helping us with aging parent issues on several occasions, and most recently in an emergency situation where our mother and caregiver for our father had her own medical issues. They responded immediately and staff was in the home in a very short time.They are professional and run a tight ship, the caregivers genuinely care for their charges and are all self-starters, helping with laundry, light housekeeping and dishes without having to be instructed to do so.Thanks to all at Firstlight for being there for our parents during this trying time.
